Dealing with Smith Haynes & Watson

Today, I got a call at work from a Mr. DePriest at SH&W :twisted: . Had to put him on hold because I was working with a customer; when I returned to the line, he'd hung up. However, he DID call back to leave the following message:
"...I don't like to play games. Once I obtain the address there, I am sending a process server out. :evil: "
I sent a DV and CD letter yesterday, so it should get to them by week's end; and I KNOW that he can't get any sort of court papers THAT quickly (can he?) :shock: .
Typical scare tactics, yes (as well as an fdcpa violation)?
