Thank all of you so much!! I knew I could count on my "family"! Mom was feeling a little better yesterday, I think. But she called at the crack of dawn, and I am trying to gulp down alot of coffee and go to the hospital to see what the problem is. Her blood pressure won't come up and is way too low, I don't know what she thinks I can do, but I am off to the hospital :lol: I din't get to bed until 2am, so I am goofed out myself :lol: They are still running tests on my sis-inlaw at another hospital-geeze- I am soooo sick of hospitals!! Thanks for all your prayers and kind words..I love you all and will keep you posted..Karen :D

You are in my thoughts. Not to seem greedy or heartless, but if I were you I'd consult with an attorney. I have a couple of friends who are nurses (and twins). They were so short-handed at the hopital were they worked that instead of having, say, five patients per nurse there were twelve!! This led to many mistakes and unfit working conditions for them. I'm currently helping to prepare litigation for them. If you are in California contact my myspace page.

I know how you are feeling. I've spent a great deal of time visiting hospitals in the past three yrears. Times like these can take a great toll on family members.

Thanks LAw Student! I am not in California though :cry: I may have already posted this, but mom is home now-still not doing very well. It's too late to contact an attorney for the Pharmacy mistake, she signed some type of paper.

And by the way, I stupidly used the pharmacy after that, and they gave me the wrong dose of pill!! Right pill, wrong dose! But it was to my advantage, I just cut them in half and it saved me a months pills.

All the hospitals are short staffed here- there is such a shortage of nurses it appears.

I am so sorry to hear about your mother health. I hope that the drug store wasn't Walgreens as they are notorious for their pharmicists mistakes. I was victim of there screw up, I take a very expensive MS drug that costs $8,600 a month and I weigh 100 lbs and they gave me double the strength of what I was suppose to have and refused to take it back.

My sister who is an rn had to come over and dump half of the vials out to bring the medication down to the right level. She also said she had a couple of patients that had problems with Walgreens.

I immediately switched to Shopko pharmacy and have never ever had a problem with them.

I wish your mother and the rest of you family good luck and I will keep you in my prayers.

Thanks you guys! Mom is feeling a little better now. She won't ever get really well, as she is down to 18% of her hear and has congestive heart failure, pacemake?defibrillator, etc.

No, it wasn't Walgreens, it was a local pharmacy! I check all my meds now, while I am at the counter I open them up!!

Am trying to get what rest I can and take care of myself!! My son that is disabled rented some movies and last night we were going to watch them, and the stupid people didn't put the movies in the box!! So now I am going up to the store and argue with them- they are well know for accusing you of doing something! I have told my son not to go there- but who listens :lol: between him and mom- there is always something going on!

yeah, a few years back I had a paper route at that time, with 2 other jobs waiting for me the same day. I didnt have time are a computer to be stupid like that.

cannr when guests start leaving us fan mail,it shows that we are being very effective at what we do here.Members would not want to guess the numbers of hate mail myself and other mods have to shuck on our site.
