It's a company that sets up a plan for you to get out of credit card debt. They can usually get you out of debt quicker and cheaper than just paying minimum payments forever. And it actually helps your credit rating. I guess it's a kind of love it or hate it thing. People are reluctant to give up their credit cards even when they are drowning in debt.

they are a scam company that bought your name and phone number from somewhere. they have cease and desist orders outstanding in both florida and california. they con you into enrolling and sending them monthly fees with the hopes of resolving whatever outstanding debt you may have. they never contact anyone on your behalf and just take your money. they are still making these "courtesy calls"
