In order to stop all of those incredible fees I have opened another account at a different bank (credit union) and am planning on canceling the account that is being eaten alive by the charges. I did do a stop payment on one (Cashnetusa) and my bank said they would stop any further charges, but the others already have hit and now my bank is -400.00. I have also faxed in letters to the PDLS telling them I will NOT authorize any further debits or credits to my accounts in the form of ACH or checks. My bank will not let me close my account until I bring it to a positive balance or a 0 balance, which I cannot do right now. Should I just wait until my bank closes the account themselves?
Also is there any chance the bank in which I am trying to close can debit my new account for the overdrafts from these PDL's? Again the new account is with a completely different and it is a credit union.
Any advice would be much appreciated. In my letters to the PDL's I have also stated that I will work out a payment plan to pay the loan off that I owe.

Thanks so much!!

I don't see legally how they can withdraw money that you owe them from your new account. In order for them to do that they would need to obtain a judgment from the courts. As far as closing your account unfortunately until you get your account closed whenever something tries to clear they will charge you an nsf fee. If you cannot afford to pay any money for the negative account you will unfortunately have to wait for them to close it for you.

Did you send your letters certified/registered return receipt that is proof that they have received them.

You need to read this post: http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/paydayloan/close-account.html as this will give you the important information regarding your closing the account.

If you have any other questions please don't hesitte to ask. Someone will be along to help you, you have come to the right place for help. We have all been in your shoes.
