My income is less then my outgoing monthly. The credit cards interest is killing us. Our ship is slowly sinking and there is no extra income on the horizon.

Bunch...why not sign up for the free consultation...they may be able to connect you with someone close by who could help you get things back on track..maybe a debt management program might help...you make one payment and they dispurse your funds...very often in a program like that the interest is lowered and late fees can be removed...makes paying down/off your debt more manageable.

Welcome to the Community :D I knwo exatly how you feel!!

Have you tried calling your credit card companies and working out something with them? Alot of them have programs, sometimes called hardship programs, where they will drop or lower the interest so you can get them paid off. I have done this in the past, told them I wanted to pay them off, but the interest was killing me, and we were strapped financially.

There is also a Do it Yourself Tab at the top of your screen you may want to look at.

Feel free to ask questions, we are here to help!..Karen

Hello bunchatony, welcome to the club!

A couple of weeks ago when I started consolidating my debt I sat down and wrote my monthly expenses. It turned out that My life costs me $600 more that I make per month. Well as was able to cut some expenses but I was still short $500. I am currently paying off a credit card consolidation plus a credit union loan that I have trough my job. I have asked for some overtime at my work, I am doing some overtime here, helping others and I was able to put the ends together. Hopefully I will hold until I pay off the credit union loan in 12 months from now.

What I am saying is, try to see if you can lower your spending. Also, consolidate your loan - get a free consultation by calling the 1800 number listed on this website. Try to get some overtime.

Goo luck and keep us updated! :D
