Safe debt helpers that dont screw you over to bad?

Welcome to the Community :D Is this debt credit cards, pay day loans?

If they are credit cards, have you spoken with them about setting up payment plans, or dropping or lowering the interest?

Is this one debt, or several smaller ones?

The reason I am asking is, I statred out with alot of differetn amounts of debts. I started with the smallest balance, made extra payments on it until I got it paid off. Then I took that payment and applied it to the next lowest ones payment and so on. It was tight for a while and not easy, but it works.
