ang, in order for an answer to that question, I need to know what state you reside in. Also, are these all internet pdl's? If so, if you don't mind, could you list them out by name, the amount borrowed, and the amount paid back so far. Do not break down the amount paid by into "fees" of any kind. Just the amount deposited into your account and the amount debited from your account so far. Remember to include your state. :D

Payday One is legally licensed in every state it lends in. That means that if you don't pay, steps can be taken to collect on the debt. They could potentially sue you and garnish wages or attach bank accounts.
ACH loans is another story. They are not legally licensed in any state I know of.
What state are you located in?
Payday loan bondage
I have become unable to pay all off the three loans that I have. All through the internet. I stopped payment and wanted to try for arrangements. One company, United Cash Loans, went around the block by submitting a made up check to my bank for payment. I don't know what to do, I really need help.

Don't know what State you live in, but I was told that the best thing to do first of all was to close my bank account to prevent any more withdrawals. (Be sure to check w/ your bank and make sure you won't be charged for returned ACH's, though) As long as these people have access to an open account, you can bet they'll keep taking your money.
