Does anybody have any information on good or bad regarding Nova Debt or Garden State Consumer credit counseling?

Ok, you may do one thing for now. All the customers who have used the services of this company will post their feedbacks with the AG, especially if they were unsatisfied with their services. You can contact the local BBB of your state and find out more information about them.

I got their information from the BBB and it stated that they dont have a unsatisfactory number of complaints that are out of the normal for the type of business. From the BBB listing i narrowed my number of credit agencies down, and Nova Debt looked pretty promising, but just wanted to know if anybody has had any experience working with them, and anything that I should know before giving them my information?

I actually cant give any information, I haven't decided on a company to go with yet, still trying to weigh out my options as far as either a consolidation or a settlement. I believe Novadebt only offers the consolidation.

Still kind of clueless as to which company to go with.

I was referred to them by Chase credit card company so I take that as a good sign, literally Chase transferred me to them, I hope they are good because I just signed up . . . tough times

Hi: I saw Novadebt on the BBB site and I live in San Diego as well. I called them and talked with Z'Tasha. She was amazing. She walked me through all the steps, patiently answered my questions because I was pretty analytical with my quesitons. We came up with a debt mgmt program that I could live with and they only charged me $32.00 a month. Plus if you finish their debt mgmt class, they put $500.00 back into your account which is typcially one month's payment. I hope they work as good as they sound and are on paper.

I have been using Nova-Debt for almost 18months - I will be credit card debt free in 12 more months. Nova-Debt was able to do what I could not do direct with the CC companies.
Lowered all of my interest rates to FAIR amounts. Stopped all other fees. All of the accounts were closed and I did get some adverse credit issues. I would definitely do it again. I was paying 4 to 5 times the amount I pay with Nova and was not reducing the balances at all.

Hope this help,

Feeling your pain
