I woke last Thursday with mind blowing pain in and under my right shoulder blade...I have been to the doctor twice..she thought it was either a pinched nerve or the onset of shingles...first I refused pain meds..cause I don't like taking them. But yesterday I finally had to say yes..I haven't been able to work a full day or function at all with out a heating pad. And forget sleeping!! In any case I am feeling much better today and am hoping to spend the whole day at work tomorrow. My xrays are do back by Thursday so maybe that will give her some answers. Don't think it is shingles anymore because I have gone so long without the rash.

I haven't done much posting because I couldn't concentrate...so I have been working on my first blog instead. Hopefully I will be back to what passes as normal for me by the end of this week. I miss you all!!

Now, morningstarr, my friend, I see you posting! Are you not supposed to be taking your medicine and resting? Not sitting at the computer with your heating pad? Yes, this is your mother talking! LOL! :lol: Will you PLEASE rest? Rest. Take a break. Take your medicine. We all want you to be well! And let us know when you get your results. Of course, we're all thinking of you!

She was suppose to get my xrays today so I haven't heard anything as yet. I am feeling a little better and my boss told me to take a few days totally off. I had been going in the morning and staying till I couldn't stand the pain..and then coming home. The heating pad a lot...and I now gave in and filled the rx for pain meds...just don't like taken them. I'll be home till Tuesday now...I am hoping to hear from my doctor tomorrow.

You're mother talking again here - Take your medicine. So you'll be knocked out for awhile. Take it. And lay down! You have lots of days off to recoup. Take advantage of it and lay down! Rent movies! Stop sitting up! Aren't you glad I don't live with you? LOL! I'd have you in bed with magazines and soup and you wouldn't be allowed out! :lol:

Uh huh. I see you posting away again. Unless you're typing while high on pain medication, you're not doing as the doctor ordered! LOL! Then again, maybe we should watch out for your "advice" while you're on medication! LOL! Hope you're starting to feel better!
