I have had 2 cell phoenes sent to me and an imagine card sent to me. All had my old account info. I sent them all back at sender's expense and made a couple of nasty phone calls. All they would tell me is that they had authorization. I did not authorize these (at least not knowingly). Has anyone else had these problems?

I got a paper bill for the cell phones but they had my SS# and address so had to call and cancel them. The Imagine card tried to debit their $4.95 start up fee but it was returned because my bank account was a closed. I think it was from a PDL company that started. It is so aggravating!

A few months ago I had received an email stating my cell phone was shipped. However, I had never ordered one. I wish for the life of me I could remember the name of the company, they were brokering for T-Mobile. I tried to call the customer service number and I would be on hold for a few minutes and then they would hang up on me. They debited my credit card, it was right before I closed my account and my bank was kind enough and reversed the charges. But it was the weirdest thing. I just assumed it was because of the IPDLs and my information was shared.

That is the same thing that happened to me but they did not charge my account. I got the email the same day that I received the phones. I wrote refused across the package and handed it back to the USPS carrier. They failed to mention that they had already set up an account with t-mobile though. So I had to deal with TMobile yesterday after getting a letter saying that I was seriously delinquent on my account. T-Mobile was very nice about it though. They closed the account and apologized profusely. The rep I talked to said he was also going to put in a complaint to his manager so they could investigate the internet company that was issuing phones without actually talking to the customer first.

OMG- I had the same thing happen to me, I had almost forgotten about it. I didn't get charged for anything but I noticed an inquiry on my credit report from T-Mobile, and then I received an e-mail from some company letting me know they received my "order"! I called them right away and told them I never placed an order, and they cancelled it, and I just assumed it was another shady PDL tactic, where they have some kind of link in their application that authorized it.
