Okay now with the situation with the banks fees pilling up to over 1,000.00 I had already made promises to pay some on the accounts at the PDL places, well the ones who would work with me. I got my final statement in the mail from my bank on Tuesday and I see that three checks had bounced two to a local grocery store and one to a take out place.

I don't know what to do because the bad checks my husband can have issues with ( prosecution, jail time) and I think we should pay them off first. But I am going to go back on the promise to pay at three PDL places. I am worried about the bank as well, we owe a lot ot them.

So I can figure out which one to take care of first, I don't have the funds to give a little to each of them right now. I am so frustrated!

Hi, and welcome to the site. You have come to the right place for as so many of us have been there and done that. My bank went crazy with bounced checks, etc. I had to pick up a few checks at the grocery store. The best thing that happend to me is when my bank closed out my checking account becasue of the fees and fines, but I had no checks commming through at that time. My payday loans was to much for me to pay, so I worked out an arrangment with them for payments, all except one, they wanted nothing to do with it. I also found a great bank that does not use the chexsystem to see if I qualify, I had no problem finding an account with an atm card, bill payments on line, they send out checks for me to anyone anywhere, I love it.

I took care of myself and rent, food first. I set up a payment plan with my bank to pay them back, and a few payday storefront loans. I did this on my own with the help of this site. Please click on the "free consultation' button that is to the right of this post, they can guide you in the right direction. Also, in the meantime, please list what state you are from and where those loans are from, if they are internet or storefront, and how much they are, are they in default. It will be ok now, try to relax.

thanks,
Luke

red, any checks that would lead to any criminal prosecution, take care of those first. The grocery store, etc. If you ignore them, they will press charges for "theft by deception". I don't know if you have checks out with store fronts or what. Or if criminal action is prohibited in your state regarding pdls. Or if you are just talking about internet pdls, I don't know. I do know that the checks that bounced at the "stores" need to be taken care of. They will press charges. I'm not trying to scare you, just giving you a heads-up.
