I am looking for contact information for a company called cacv of Colorado, LLC. Can you please help me? It appears that I have been sued by this company.

Go to this link for all the info you need. They are real bottom feeders! They are probably threatening you with litigation that they have no intention of carrying out. Have you received a summons or what? Have you sent then a debt validation letter. Tell us the whole story so we can help you. Do not speak to htem or agree to anything until you send that letter. If your did receive a summons it is important that you show up. The link is below.

We already filed a chapter 7 about 2 years ago and that debt came off with the bankruptcy, yet CACV placed a judgement with the courts and on my credit as well. What can I do to stop this.

cacv GARNISHED MY WAGES THROUGH THEIR ATTORNEY TWICE AND i FILED PAPERWORK TO GET THE GARNISHMENT REMOVED because of hardship. Both times my money was returned. This time though when my work gave me my garnished money back, the law firm turned around and levied my bank account. How does that work and how often can they do that. I will no longer do direct deposit. How long is a levy in place for. Do they have to have a new order each time to get into my account? Helpppppppppp!

How do you filed a stop of garnishment due to hardship. The garnishment they are taking is 25 % which leaves us with a minus after bill are payed because it is every check and not once per month. Our bills will continue to pile up to the negative. I need help please! 606-233-4486..........

I know this information is a bit late but this is for anyone who knows they have debt and that a potential case could be pending. Familiarize yourself with your County Court Docket and look up your name. I did this several times a month when I was having financial problems. If you see something filed against your name you have time to respond.

So, let me get this strait - this company can sue you and get a judgment without serving you? I've also read that they have pulled money out of a people's checking accounts with a judgment or authorization.

I'd like to avoid BK if possible - but it sounds like a better route than living in constant fear.

Thank You Ron B.

Return the letter unopened and put on the outside of the letter "No one lives here by that name", or something to that effect.

I think that CACV of Colorado behaved like crass and shameless profiteers during the onset of one of the worst economic busts of our recent history, and the blandest of responses to their behavior should be no less than marked revulsion.

BUT maybe there will be some demand for accountability! I just received notice of a class action lawsuit which was filed March 9, 2009 "on behalf of all persons who are or previously were indebted on Providian National Bank credit card accounts and against CACV of Colorado, LLC or CACH, LLC..." The case no. is 4:08-cv-00036-RKS and is being heard in the US District Court for the District of Montana, Great Falls Division. John C. Heenan of Heenan Law Firm, P.O. Box 2278, Billings, MT 59103, is the attorney appointed by the court to represent this class action. Phone: 406-839-9091. Fax: 406-839-9092. If you fit the parameters of the lawsuit, then you need to file a claim form by March 5, 2010.

Hey i just got my bank account levied this past friday from this very same company, who are they and how do they get our information? I thought that our information was safe! So what should I do? They say that the judgement is only in my name not my husband, but they took all of our money.

I am Disabled now I am on full disability. I have full documentation to prove it. These people called me and threatened to go legal against me and they have sent no documentation to me whatsoever on a debt they purchased from Bank of America.  Itried to settle with Bof A last year and they refused now this compnay wanted to take the same deal and wanted my bank account info with any documentation.  The orgiinal call came in as a 719 area code but when they give you the #it is an 888 # neither of which I can find on the reverse number lists on the internet anywhere.  I have read online this company and it's attorney has been sued several times for violations of the fair debt collection act.  With me being disabled which i hate, but it still gives me rights I have learned that they cannot put undue stress on me making me more ill than I already have been for over a year. Is there anything we can do or are we stuck with these people????

If you dont want the calling, simply send the a cease and desist letter.  Being disabled doesnt give you any special rights and they could still sue you.  However they cannot garnish your disability income.  If you own property, they could still lein your home.
