Hi goudah! Well I did all of the research & here is what I've paid out so far...
Eastside-loan 600.00 have paid 837.50
NLS-loan 375.00 have paid 340.00
VC Funding-loan 300.00 have paid 540.00
Payday Cash Link loan 300.00 have paid 180.00
ACC-loan 300.00 have paid 405.00
Upfront-loan 250.00 have paid 375.00
Zip Cash-loan 500.00 have paid 450.00
One Click Cash-350.00 took out on 9/6

Hubby & I went to the bank at lunch. Wells Fargo couldn't close the other account until it's at a 0 balance. However we were able to open up a new account & will have hubby's paycheck direct deposited into that account while I use mine to get the negative balance taken care of. What's the next step?
Thanks, Lisa

Wait - Did you open a new account at WF? Please say no . . . . They have a tendancy to freeze and close your good account if you bad one is negative too long. You will eventually get the money that was in the good account, but not for 6 to 8 weeks!

The next step is to start the letter writing. You need to send them letters stating that you revoke any authorization to debit your account, revoke any and all wage assignments you signed, and put your state laws regarding pdl's in there. I know Cannr has a good example letter that included everything you need. PM her if you'd like a copy to use as an example.

You seem to have paid off the principal amount in some of the accounts. Check your state laws and find out the permissible interests and fees that can be charged by these companies. If you have overpaid, you need to claim for a refund from that particular company. Also make sure that they are licensed in your state so that their business sounds legit.

yes we did open a new account with Wells Fargo..kinda stuck between a rock & a hard place there. My mortgage payment is paid to my father & he banks at wells fargo. If I closed that account & changed banks he'd be asking 50 million questions and I really don't want him knowing about this whole mess.

lmk, what state are you in? It looks as though some of your ipdl's are not licensed/legal anywhere. I'm just throwing my 2 cents in here just by looking at the names.

lmk, is your account already closed? Make sure your bank account is taken care of before sending the letter. Once they get the letter, they're going to pounce all over your bank account. Be sure it's safe before sending the letter. Also, here's what I come up with regarding your loans. A couple of them I never heard of, so don't know if licensed or not.

Eastside borrowed 600/paid 837.50/OVERPAID 237.50
(not licensed)
NLS borrowed 375/paid 340/owe 35.00
(never heard of this one)
VC Funding borrowed 300/paid 540/OVERPAID 240.00
(don't think you'll find this one licensed)
PayDayCashLink borrowed 300/paid 180/owe 120.00
(never heard of this one)
ACC borrowed 300/paid 405/OVERPAID 105.00
(never heard of this one)
Upfront borrowed 250/paid 375/OVERPAID 125.00
(don't think you'll find this one licensed)
Zip Cash borrowed 500/paid 450/owe 150
(don't think your find this one licensed)
One Click Cash borrowed 350/paid 0/owe 350.00
(this one is totally illegal)

These amounts are based upon principle amount only, meaning these amounts are based upon the pdl's not being licensed.

So, you basically need a letter to cover all angles. Overpaid/owe towards principle

Okay. :D

As long as the pdl's can't get her money. I hate to send the letter & they jump and try to debit every cent they possibly can. If it's in the negative, they're not going to get squat, so that's cool. This is the account the pld's have, right? The "negative" amount one?

Thanks again to both you & cannr for all the help & encouragement. The lady who helped us at the bank yesterday said she owned a check cashing business. Hubby & I thought that was pretty hilarious..we gave her the cease order for one click cash..she looked as white as a ghost. Wonder if we have her questioning if what she is doing is legal...ha ha ha

She owns a check cashing place???? OMG! I know you guys think it's funny, but I swear, I probably would have had a cow right in front of her! OMG! Okay, she's working at a bank, helping people close their accounts out due to pdl's, and she owns a check cashing place? OMG! As long as you got your checking account taken care of........that's all I'm concerned with. But....... OMG!

Cannr I think u misunderstood...we didn't think it was funny that she owened a check cashing facility...we thought it was funny when we handed her the c & d order for one click cash & she turned white as a ghost. Now THAT was funny! OMG was the first thing that came to my mind when that came out of her mouth.

Hey everyone! I got all my letters mailed (certified) & all the emails sent out last Thursday. I have only received 1 of the signature cards back so far..from One Click Cash. The only emails I've received are from Payday Cash Line, Eastside Lenders, and Upfront Payday and they all pertained to their returned debits. Nothing so far acknowledging the c & d letters via email or usps. When should I file complaints with the BBB, FTC & AG? Thanks Lisa
