I been paying on my collections that I have not cared about in years and just recently signed up on True Credit. Does anyone here use this website? I can not find no help files on their site, but does True Credit give you updated credit reports or is the first one is all you get when you signed? I received this credit alert but nothing is new on my report.

Account Information
A new account has appeared on your credit report.
Here are the details of this new account:

Reported By: Equifax
Reported On: 09/09/2007
Date Opened: 10/01/2004
Account Number: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Creditor's Name: CAPITAL ONE AUTO FINANCE
Industry Type:
Address: 3905 Dallas Pkwy
Plano, TX 75093-7892
Phone Number: null

This account is not new and not sure why it is saying it.

Thanks

I use truecredit. I get the alerts popping up every now and then for accounts that were already there ... not sure why that happens.

Once you pull your report, they will keep showing it to you for the next 30 days. They won't just automatically pull a new report when you log on.

But you can pull a new report whenever you want to. On the top menu bar, click "Your Credit" --> "Credit Reports"

Now you should be looking at the last credit report they pulled. On the right-hand menu-bar, underneath "Related Items", is a link called "Update Report." Click on that link, and they will pull a new credit report for you.

I guess it depends, too, what you're paying them for. If you just paid for a single credit report, maybe you can't update it. But if your paying for the monthly subscription, then you can update whenever you want to.
