I rembember sitting on my couch after sending my daughter to school and watching tv flipping through the channels. I don't know what made me stop on one channel but the next thing I saw was a report that a plane had flew into one of the towers. As I was watching a plane flew into the second tower. I called my husband immediatly and then ran to wake up my neighbor. I watched the news almost constantly for the next 7 days because I was absolutely horrified and very afraid. I will never forget what happened that day.

I remember getting ready for work when the first plane hit and they thought it was an accident. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of our fallen heroes and to their families.

I too was home from work that day at sat glued to the television as I watched the sadness unfold...I cried most of the day for all that had happened and the beautiful lives that were lost...My prayers are with the country on this day that we never face that challenge or loss again.

I don't think any one will forget where they were and what they were doing that day. My heart is with all the families who have suffered a loss due to this terrible tragedy and to all the families who have lost loved ones from the effects of the fires, debris etc and those military men and women who have given their lives and continue to serve to protect our freedoms.

No, I am in Texas but my husband was on the inactive reserve list that added to my fears. I've not been able to watch any 9/11 footage nor any type of movie made about it. The tradegy of it all is still to hard for me to think about in a real sense.

I remember that day just like it was yesterday. I too thought that the first plane that hit the tower was an accident. I was sitting with the parole board doing inmate reviews when the correctios officer came in and told us about the 2nd plane.
No one will ever forget that day that is for sure. So many lives have been ruined because of this tragedy.

My son had some program on last night about this and I still get shook up watching what happened. I sat there and cried watching it with him. I remember I had gotten the kids off to school and laid back down and went back to sleep. The TV was on and I thought I was dreaming about a plane hitting a building until I woke fully up and acutally saw it on the news and knew that it wasn't a dream. I sat in my housecoat all day practically watching this on TV.
