DVL and Phone Call

I sent a validation letter saying to communicate with me only by USPS, but I got an urge to call them after I received a letter from them. But I was not able to speak to the person in charge of this account. Should I NOT call them? It was only $50, so I just want to take care of it quickly as long as they can verify it is the money I owe.

If you know this is your debt, and these are the people who you owe the debt to, I would pay it. If you aren't sure, wait until you get validation. I don't talk with collections agencies- well, a few of them- because they want to yell and call names. Some of them have worked with me, and helped me, some not..Good Luck..Karen
