Right now I am not sure just which ones I need. I was trying to figure out what all I had done and not done and had to get a way from it and eat some chocolate. When I figure out which side is up I will let you know. But I think for tonight I am OVER it!!! Gonna take a long hot bath and just go to bed. I have also figured out that at least two of my loans are the same company d/b/a two different names.

Well here is my daily update:

I have faxed, mailed, and emailed C&D letters stated what I owe and or overpaid the 5 companies I have ipdl's with. So far this morning I have not had a single phone call yet. I know they will be calling or emailing and I am ready to battle when they do. I do not have to worry about them contacting my employer since I no longer work. That is a relief after hearing about your nightmares. So I will keep you posted! :D

roo, it may take them awhile to contact you. Then again, the phone might ring today. Who knows with them! Please post as to how it's going! :D

I did hear from 500fastcash yesterday regarding my fax. He of course told me that I was misinformed about the laws and that he only had to follow the laws in his state. He also said that he could not communicate with me in writing. I told him that if he didn't want to work with me through writing then I was unwilling to work with him. He wasn't rude or threatening yet! I told him not to call me anymore so he said ok and hung up! I will keep you posted if anything else happens.

Roo, they all use the I only have to follow the laws in my state line. And he probably can not write and that is why he won't communicate with you in writing. :lol: Seriously, it sounds like he does not want to give you any kind of ammunition since he does not want to correspond with you. roo, I'm surprised. Not at the fact that he spouted his state law to you and that you're misinformed and confused (yeah, I've heard the same speech read directly from their script), but at the fact that he responded that he will not deal with you in writing. They usually communicate via email. Huh. Maybe he "wasn't in the mood" today.

hmmm, the phones and emails are really quiet around here. Could my letters have worked?

After I sent my letters it was a couple of weeks before I heard from anyone...and most I didn't hear from at all because of my letters but only after the complaints from the BBB abd the AGH got to them...2 I have never heard from since June...and they neither answered the BBB or the AG...so go figure!!
