I need information on how to go about these payday loans. I live in new jersey and no one here has any idea how to stop them from calling my home, job and cell phone. Please help me. I am in a financial mess with my bank and i have to get bacj on track. I feel like i am working for nothing. Thanks and any feedback i get, will be appreciated

Cuba....calm ...breathe...now I will print the laws for NJ...and you will please list each pdl and tell us the following :
Internet or store front??
How much did you borrow?
How much has been paid back?
this would be the total debited from your account for each, don't list it as fee's or principle, just the amount taken.

Once we have that info we can give you some direction.

The rules and regulations issuers of payday loans must abide by in the state of New Jersey.
Legal Status:
Prohibited

Loan Terms:
30% per year

Debt Limits:
Not applicable

Collection Limits:
Not applicable

Hey, cubancutie! You've come to the right place! :D As morningstarr has posted your New Jersey pdl law which states they are PROHIBITED, your pdl's are all internet. No store fronts. This means that your pdl's are (of course) charging you rollover/extension fees which they can not do. All the debits they have taken out of your bank account should go to the principle of the loan. Nothing more. No fees. They are prohibited in your state. Now, you need to close your bank account. You need to do this as soon as you can to get these guys from debiting your account any further. That's the first step. There is a "sticky" at the top of this site page regarding closing your bank account. You need to read this. Get that bank account taken care of ASAP. When are your debits scheduled to hit next? You may have some time. Let us know when your next scheduled debits are due. Also, go to the bank and close that account. When you do, speak with only the branch manager. Make sure the account is CLOSED. Make sure it can not be "forced" open due to pending pdl debits. If they can not assure you of this fact, put a hard debit block on that account. Nothing will go through. You need to take your money and go to a different bank and open a new account. You need to do this now. If you have any questions regarding closing your account after reading the "sticky", please ask! We will help you! And, please, as morningstarr posted, please list out your pdl's for us. The name, the amount borrowed (principle only) and how much you have paid them so far. Do not break anything down into "fees". Just the amount borrowed and the amount paid back. They are prohibited in your state, cubancutie! We can help you out of this mess! :D

cubancutie, refresh my mind... Is your bank account taken care of so these pdl's can't get your money any longer? I see you posted your pdl's. That's good. Just refresh my memory on where we stand. We probably need to send letters out and file complaints. I can't remember and it's early! Anyway, following is New Jersey state pdl law for you:
