A little over 2 months ago I made a monthly payment agreement over the phone of paying $500 a month on my account for this company Leading Edge Recovery Solutions and due to financial hardship I want to make a lower payment arrangement but this is falling on deaf ears in there company, they are always sending me to different people in the company. What would you suggest? I am willing to make monthly payments but only $250 a month. Any comments would help.

Then I would say that that payment arrangement can be revoked with a "I revoke all supposed said arrangements over the phone with you" letter and a "I cancell all Automatic Electronic Debits from My checking Account" from you sent certified with a return reciept. There are mamy of these drafts here just ask us. You have no contract with this company, that is legal, anyone will tell you that all contract have to be in written. I would tell my bank to stop all debits from this company/person, which has to be written and or close that account. Trust me, these people will not stop, you gave them total access to your checking account, not a good ideal.

You do not have much time to do this. But, I would do all of this first before you let this company know what you are doing are they may just debit your account the full amount. You are in your rights to do all that I have suggested. For others to help you farther, you may want to list what state you are in here, and also to click on the "free consultation" button that is just to the right of this post so they may be able to help you more. Welcome to the site, you have come to the right place.

all the best,
Luke

Call them tell them that you want all payments cancled. Each payment you have set up needs to be cancled. They won't like it and they may tell you they won't accept another payment arrangement, as they don't really have to. Just mail them your payments and keep good records.
