Hi I was just browsing the site and thought I would chat, I have been hurting pretty bad ever since the gas and all spiked up to $3 plus a gallon and cant seem to pull out of it, although I am not late on payments or anything but it is so tough every month to get them all paid on time!!

Hi Scott, and welcome!

We can all feel your pain regarding the gas prices! Ours keep jumping between $3 and $3.40, depending on the day. It was $3.24 yesterday morning, and dropped to $3.06 last night, though I don't expect that to last long - I'm sure it will go up again soon.

I'm beginning to think the gas price increases are triggered by my van's gas gauge hitting "E"....

I heard them talk about the gas prices going up as soon as tomorrow and to get gas tonight. Geez, is this ever going to end. Well I put $20.00 in and it used to fill my car up, it didn't even take it the F mark only a little above 3/4. I drive a Honda Accord, 4 cylinder, wth

I'm about ready to go buy (yeah, like I have money!) a damn "scooter" to go back and forth to work on! LOL! That would be a sight to see!

Here in Indiana it has been bad also. Today the fuel prices for regular unleaded was $2.89 at the cheapest place I can find. My advice for you would be to go buy the Walmart gift card to save $0.07 a gallon or the Kroger(or whatever it is in your neighborhoob) to save 10 cents a gallon. It is worth spending a little bit more to save on the gas. That really adds up!

Guys the gentleman knows that the gas is expensive. His question was how to cope with the payments. I would suggest calling you banks and see if they are willing to lower your APRs (that will releive some of your debt). If you need more help, you can also call the numbe ron the right of your screen and see how they can help you out :)

Good luck!

PS And yes, gas prices are crazy. I used to drive a 3.8 V6 before and it was killing me. I just love my 4cyl 2.0 car now :D
