Okay. Got another envelope from the AG. This is amazing. Without going into all the details because it takes way too much energy to tell all the gory details of the blatent lies in the pdl's response to my AG, I'm just going to give you the low down. Are you listening? :D Two responses to my AG. One from (are you ready for this?) Quickest-Cash-Advance (one of my MTE pdl's! Holy crap! They responded to the AG. I almost fell over. Now, without going into the absolute total disgusting lies they spouted, here is what it boils down to:
"We believe all the terms and conditions of this loan were met on our end, but believed it to be in the best interest of this customer to write off the balance of this account and close the account, which we did on 07/18/2007. It is unclear why she chose to file a complaint with your office after she had been advised of this, but we consider this matter closed until we hear from you."
Yes, that's a lie also that they "advised" me the loan was written off and considered closed, but that's just one lie of a TWO PAGE letter to the AG filled to the brim with lies. However, I really don't give a flying fig. They are apparently off my ass now and I have a letter to the AG to prove it! Lying SOB's. Anyway, the other was from Cash Borrower, of whom I have had an all out war going on via email that would curl your hair! They informed the AG that:
"The parent company of Cash Borrower has waived $250.00 principle and $170.00 in accrued loan fees totaling $420.00. Therefore, the result of this waiver is that there is no balance owed by cannr to Cash Borrower and her account is therefore Paid In Full in accordance with cannr's request as conveyed to us in her email of July 9, 2007."
Now, mind you, this loan of $250.00 had been overpaid by me; however, they stated they have written off the entire loan plus fees. WTF ever. I have proof that they are now also off my ass!
I would really, really LOVE happy dances from some people! I've done enough happy dances for everyone! I want one now! Hell, yes! I love my AG!

Thanks for the happy dance! You're my first happy dancer! Thank you! :D As for filing with your state AG, here's what I did. I just googled my state attorney general. The site popped up. I then went to consumer protection, clicked on it. Then a "complaint form" was there. Now, in my state, I had to download the complaint form, fill it out, and mail two copies in (well worth it!). I don't know about how your state handles it. You may be able to file on line. Some states are able to do that. So, just google your state attorney general and the site should come up. Look for something along the lines of consumer protection or filing a complaint.
