Have you talked to them? When you take a semester off, you use up your grace period. You may not be withdrawn but you were not in attendance.
WHat type of loans? Private loans may or may not allow you to take a semester off...if could have automatically gone into repayment.

Hi,
I have been contacted by Allied who calls me 2 to 3 times a day. I do not answer. I had spoken to them in earlier on when they first contacted me. I asked that they send me a bill or some verification but they never did and continued to call. When I spoke with them again they claimed they sent a bill and since I did not respond to it, I was refusing to pay the amount.
They began to call me 5 times a day. When I finally had enough and picked up the phone I was screamed at by the "supervisor" who told me that I had to pay over the phone and that they will not send me another bill. I told them no. I then received a fax that said "Please send your payment to us by tomorrow...." and gave me an address in Ohio. How would I get a mailed payment to them to another state by the next day? Argh!!
So finnally, I sent them a validation letter and cease and decist letter via certified mail.
BUT - every single day I continue to get calls from them about 3 times a day. No voicemail, no nothing.
Does anyone have any ideas/advice as to what I should do from here?

They are entitled to one call (contact with debtor) after the cease and desist to tell you what they intend to do with the account. Unless you pick up and they start dunning you for the balance, there would not be a violation.
