I did the wrong thing by getting two payday loans and now I am paying over $600 a month in interest alone and making no porgress. I have made a horrible mistake i would of rather had my car repo'ed then go trough this. If I were to get a consolidation loan and pay just half as much I would not be scraping by for rent on the first of every month. Is it possible to get a consolidation loan for Pay day advances? If so please point me in the right direction.

Hello and welcome to our forum. First of all it is possible to clear your situation on your own...many of us have as you will see if you read any of the posts on payday lending. If you could tell us the following info we would be glad to help you:

State you live in?
Name of the loan?
Internet or Store front?
Amount borrowed?
Total paid back...all monies paid fee's or not?

When we have this we can give you some more insight on what to do. If you would still prefer to look for a consolidation company...you can search in the google box for T & C or Langhorn...those are the two we hear most about that help with PDL's. You can read about what other members think...also you can register and take advantage of the free consultation. They too should be able to give you additional information.

I live in Austin, Tx
The two stores are:
EZ Money (Storefront)$1280 (owed)
First Cash Advance (Storefront)$554 (owed)
I barrowed these in the middle of July and cna only pay my intrest because if i pay anymore I come up short on other bills. I will do some research on the two DC companies you mentioned, in the mean time I look forward to hearing from you

John, I am printing your state law for you. Since both of these are store fronts, they are legal as long as they are following the laws...and most store fronts do. You can always call them and ask to make other arrangements..some have actually been successful in that. Most store fronts will not make arrangements until you default on the loan. You will have to decided what is best for you...

You will find the Payday loan laws for Texas here (just select your state),

I saw the laws when searching on this site yesterday. I am going to contact both T & C and Langhorne Law and see what my options are. I am stil considering pleading with a Credit Union or my bank and asking for the loan. Anyhting is better than paying interest and getting nowhere. If you have any other infromation please do not hesitate to contact me.
