Due to all the fees being taken out of my account the last couple paychecks, I coulndt afford to renew my car insurance with the company I was with for over 2 years and when I called them today to see how much it would cost to get the policy reissued the guy on the phone who was rude as all get out to begin with told me that it would be almost double what my renewal was on the policy. I am so freaking mad right now and am looking for a new insurance company.

We had progressive and were quite satisfied, however we had to renew our home owner's insurance and they do not offer that so we had to go to Farmer's Mutual and got a multi car and multi homeowners insurance policy because of our home and our rental property. Progressive is very competitive.

I just bought a 6 month policy with them. I had prgressive its prolly been about 6 years ago or so and ended up cancelling because at that point when my renewal came up the premium doubled, because they were pulling credit information and not notifying people that they were doing so, I found out because they ended up getting hit with a class action lawsuit that I got notified of because I fell into the class that filed the suit. So I am going to see how it goes this 6 months. I would rather pay $750 for 6 months than the almost $1300 that Geico wanted to reissue my policy.

I have Geico and they are so frustrating. I make payments every month. Now my policy is up in November and I have already paid all my premiums for this policy. Do I get a free month like I did everywhere else I had insurance previously? No, I have to start making payments on the next cycle. I do not agree with that, what if I want to change companies? I don't think they are going to easily refund any overpayment.

Progressive tried to raise our auti insurance when it was time to renew our policy. We called Geico and they saved us 40% in costs. When I called Progressive back to cancel our policy, the rep asked me why and when I told him what Geico was offering he even told me that there was no way that Progressive would even come close matching it.
