Definitely look at the forums. This is not something new. There have been many people scammed by this so called loan approval. The same line was fed about the "insurance coverage". Just remember a legitimate company will not ask for an advance fee. Tell them to take it out of the loan and send you the balance and see how they react.

Allied mutual approved me for a loan and also stated they required a loan protection insurance in advance.

Do not forward them any money. As per the consumers' feedback over here, you will never be able to track them later. It will be a total loss of your hard earned money.
