Extra money

With my husband in Iraq we're getting paid a little more than we normally are. With this money I was planning on fixing his credit report. Should I start with the smallest amounts therefore getting more accounts paid (mostly medical bills) or pay off the larger accounts?

They always say pay off the smallest one first and work your way up. If you take care of the 300 dollar one in one payment. That is 300.00 you will have to add to what ever the next one is the following month and so on! Soon you will be making big payments on the big one intead of just paying the minimum. Make sense?

I think it depends. What are his debts as of right now? Can you list them: balance, apr, min payment...
