Why is that the debtcc point system...

Also, does the system reward Moderators, HOF & Debt Samaritans more that the rest?

The more information posted, the more points earned per post, up to 20 points per post. When you don't post a lot of words, you earn less points.
When you post in the pub you don't earn any points. That is the only forum where the rules differ.
Mods, HOF, and debt sams all earn the same as normal members.

I have never had it give me more points for fewer words!
Do you mean it gives you, like 20 for just a few words, as compared to posting a lot of words and getting fewer that 20?
I am confused

A normal poster gets to earn more points in the beginning. The system allows it up to 50 posts. So, even if you post fewer words in the first fifty posts, the points earned will be higher. This programming is basically done to encourage new people in participating more in the community.
Stefan, since you have more than 100 posts, you will now earn points as usual like other members.
For every point you get one cent. You can request me anytime to redeem your points and I will send the payment by check or to your paypal account. Take a look at all the past payments that is done in the community.
It's good to have you with us Stefan. I have seen you sharing useful information in the group. You are doing a good job. Stay in touch.

Now I nderstand how it works. It is because of the 100th post thats why it rewards differently now :)
Mike I will be around. I have a lot to learn from here and a lot to share from my experience. And I like to share what I know. And I get a couple of bucks for that nothing beats the combination :D
Mike its offtopic but I have send 2-3 messages to Vikas but it looks like he is overwhelmed. I want to join the Debt Samaritan Club before I join the HOF (probably by the end of the month looking at how many question are coming trough daily) :D

Stefan, your posts will be reviewed before we invite you for the role of a "Debt Samaritan". You have been in the community since the last four days. Spend some more time and help others. Everyone will come to know you better and vote you to the Debt Samaritan club. :)

Good to know you've been reading and learning. However, calling it "investigating" sounds kind of scary! And, to be "on top"? We're ALL "on top"! Everyone is wonderful and out only to help others. No one is below or above anyone. That's what's great. :D

Well investigate I dont know maybe the word is not really the best one to use but I couldnt think af another one at the moment when I was typing it. "Researching" is a better term to use :) On top of my expectations on what I have learned, not on top of everybody in the Forums. I am a good person and I respect equality :D

That was one of the reasons I joined. Especially when I saw that topic where where other members of the forum where donating points... like I said, this has to be printed out and put displayed in a museum for other generations to see and learn what respect and humanity is

You will never find another place like this one, stefan. Talk about a community of people that bands together and comes through for everyone at any time! It is amazing. And each and every person does it because they want to. Because they want to help people. They want to be there for people. It is actually unheard of anymore. People willing to give so selflessly without asking for anything in return. They are doing it out of kindness and concern. Absolutely amazing. If it's not obvious to you already, I have put debtcc on a pedestal where it remain forever. I have the highest respect for each and every member on here. And they deserve only that. And you will find that Mike and/or Vikas will bend over backwards to help any person no matter what. These people are all to be admired and respected. I consider it an honor to be a part of this community and to be welcomed as "me".
