I recieved a call from international cash services

I heard of ICS. I spoke to them yesterday and they said that I was approved for the loan and the cash would be in my account in 24 hrs. The funny thing is, I havent got the money and it has been well over 24 hours. After reading all of this, I am quite nervous. I don't know how to stop it before it starts.

Welcome to the forums.

It's good that you have gathered the necessary information well before getting the loan in your account. Call the customer care of the company and request them to cancel your loan application. You might need to send that in writing as well.

Do this needful at the earliest as they have your bank information. Also, keep a regular check on your accounts since most of the problems arise after your personal information is available to them.

Cancel the loan agreement in writing. Send it to the mailing address of the company through certified mail with return receipt requested. There are lots of consumer complaints against this company.

If you have already provided your bank account details to ICS, watch out. Cancelled in writing or not, I wouldn't want ICS to have my bank details. They are crooks. Close your account or at least monitor it VERY closely.

My husband and I took out a loan with ICS for $200...the first month they tried to debit our account for $124.00...I put a stop payment on the draft and offered to pay the loan back in payments. They refused and said they have to have all the money by the 13th of January or they will garnish my husbands check. I was wondering if they can do this without going through a process. I am willing to pay the money back but I need to make payments as they now say we owe them $413.00 for a $200.00 loan.

Tell them what you will send and do it. They will complain but in my case they accepted it. Note that you did agree to a voluntary wage garnishment over the phone, however most employers will require a written document authorizing such a vehicle and in thier case, they do not have it. If you pay them, do it via money order.. fax a copy of it to them and then mail it, it will take 2 - three weeks fro them to get it since their US address is only a mail drop. Again, be proactive tell them what you will do adn them do it. follow through.

Gayle, do not pay anything to ICS until they have given you an itemized statement of this debt account. Also, you need to get a written statement from them mentioning that your accounts will be shown as 'paid' in your credit report after you have paid them in full. In many cases, Cash Today has not been responding to the consumers as required. So, you need to be assured that your money will be going to your debt account and not in the wrong place.

Read this forum carefully. Many complaints have already been filed against this company because of their illegal practices. Get everything in writing from them so that you have proof of all the actions taken towards this loan account. Send all your letters through certified mail with return receipt requested and keep a follow up.

Thanks for the response, I will write them and reqest an itemized statement, but, so far they havent been very helpful. In fact, the lady hung up on me yesterday! Go Figure!

Gayle, ICS is a tough company to deal with. They have tried to intimidate many people. But as long as you are willing to pay the debt, the company won't take any actions against you. They have to prove that you are trying to escape the debt if they pursue any legal actions. Your correspondence with them will tell your side of the story. Send your mails certified with return receipt requested and keep copies in safe place.

I also received a call after applying for a loan and was approved. the money never came. i received another call days later asking that i fax two check stubs in and i am just calling it quits on this deal. the customer service number given to me when i was approved was 1-800-865-3898 but all i get is that their operators are busy and to leave a message

As per the Consumer Protection Division of my states Attorney General's office, Payday lenders, including one's outside the US are subject to the laws of my state. This is because they enter my state via the web and issue a loan. And, the AG office also told me that they must possess a license to issue loans to consumers in my state. The AG office also stated that they would have no way to collect from me without complying with my state's laws. As one example, garnishment of wages for purposes of than student loans, public hospitals, and taxes, are not allowed in my state (NC). ICS cannot garnish my wages as it would take a court order ordering my employer to do it, but my employer would be banned from doing so based on state law. The AG office went on to tell me to protect my assets. He used this analogy: If someone has the keys to your home and you do not want them to have further access, you change the locks. In the case with ICS, you put blocks on your account or for extreme cases, change the checking or savings account number.

Be informed. Not all states allow garnishments of wages for private entities. If you are not sure, check with you payroll department at your employer. They will know who can and cannot submit a garnishment request. My mother has done payroll for 30 years for a university and as mentioned in my previous post, only public hospitals, taxing authorities, and government backed student loans qualify in the state of NC for garnishments. Each state varies. Now, if ICS tries to garnish your wages, your employer would be subject to the laws of where you work. So if ICS got a court order in the UK for garnishment, they would have to request my wages be garnished from my employer. My employer would be prohibited from doing so. If they did, my employer would violate NC state law--something they are not goin to do. My point is, ICS is subject to US and state laws.

Juanita, there are various threads about ICS in this forum. Put the word in the search box above and you will come to know about others dealing with ICS. Things will get clear in front of you.

Here's the only number that I have for them
800-865-3703. The voice mail for them says that they are onpen from 8am-5pm Eastern time. If you leave a message, don't expect them to return your call, because they probably won't. Watch out for them, I took out a $200 from them on April 12, and on April 21, they debited my account for $479. And now they are calling and telling me that I owe them $400 more. They are VERY scandelous.

I hope for your sake that you never do receive the money from ICS. If they do debit your account without depositing the money, go to your bank immediately and they will get your money back, minus some fees.

I think ICS is All a scam I have been put through the run around by them for 3 days now. I can never get anyone on the line then they say leave a meesage no one ever calls back im going to report them to better business because all the do is waste peoples time.

I was approved for a loan from this company. It has been one week and I have not received my money as of yet. I talked with a rep who indicated that it had been approved. I am unable to contact anyone by telephone.

hello every one i used 2 work for ics and we are not a troublesome company we do our best to help all our customers but we only call u when you miss payments and as you know all you americans are fast to take the loan but not fast to pay it back so i think all you americans need to learn to understand your responsibilities and grow up. as i was working for ics i noticed how rude u americans are go to school and learn something and as for ics carry on with the hard work and may all ics workers have a good life .

so i noticed u americans have understood my message thats good next time u should think twice b4 slaging off people ...

How do i know this, well I DID ALL THEIR DIRTY WORK, till they burned me for no reason, they must have made atleast 75 million dollars in 2 yrs, all these companies are owned by heathmill multimedia limited also known as heathmillhut limited,cash2day limited and a lot of other names. They run their operations from 1379 highroad, whetstone,N20 9LP,london,england.there r a few hundred people who work there, most of them indian students who r made to work like slaves, their pay is shit, and heathmill knows its illegal for these people to work more than 20 hrs/week but the company still makes them work almost 50 hours,they have another contact centre in wembley london where atlest 20 percent of the people are students whose visas have expired quite a while back but they r still allowed to work cos they make good sales.u wanna stop them find the number for the consumer bureau in london and give all this info to them oh by the way they dont pay taxes as well, they only stop harrasing or settle if threatened by a federal lawsuit or an attorney general,respond to this post and ill tell u their collections tactics

they have offshore accounts in jersey islands which is a tax free haven just off the coast of england that is where the directors deposit all the money to save tax, and to keep the real scale of their operations hidden, another thing, they are so scared of geting caught that everytime a cop car passed by the directors used to call the reception to find out if the cops were coming in.
