If anyone can help I would REALLY appriciate it!! I have to to replace my radiator, on my car. I don't have the money, for this!! I've put off payments, on different things, thins month and STILL won't have enough money!! I would be 'short', about $200.00. I have asked EVERYONE I know, for money. I just don't know what to do. Thanks for 'listening'.

Go buy the radiator yourself and have someone install it. You will save a lot that way. Have a yard or garage sale this weekend! Sell some old gold jewelry to a shop. It is bringing lots right now! How bad is the radiator. I have been putting water in mine everyday for months and it is still holding up. Got through the Florida summer.

Thanks for rsponding, ya'll. 'Stop Leak'...never heard of it. Will it stop a leak of ANY kind? I do feel a bit better.

sd, use Stop Leak. It's cheap. And, I swear, it works. I had a little piece of crap Ford Escort that was about beaten to death. I had to add oil every day and also had to use Stop Leak in my radiator. I just always made sure I had some in the trunk for my every day stop to fill my car with fluids. No lie. It does work. And, I'm telling you right now, I had that car for over a year. I was told I needed a new radiator. I was advised to use Stop Leak by a friend. I did it for over a year. I never got a new radiator. Then some guy crashed in to me and totaled my car, so I didn't have to worry about that anymore! But, honestly, go to the auto store and get some. Put it in your radiator. I'm not lying. I did it for over a year.

Huh. Wonder if it's a "Ford" thing? Hell, morningstarr, I used it for over a year! When they told me the cost of a new radiator, I was like "Oh, like that'll happen!" That stuff worked wonders. So you have to do it every so often. It works and it's cheap!

FYI is right. I forgot to even mention that. But, as you can tell, many have used it and it works! :D Maybe we should "charge" Stop Leak for free advertising!

I'm with you FYI! I think we need to send Stop Leak a bill! We can all split it!

I thank everyone, for their advice. I'm a bit more 'calm' now, about the situation. My radiator has a crack in it, and the crack is where it holds the ACTUALLY radiator to the frame. THAT'S where it's leaking. Also..one more question, if anyone know. I'm pretty concerned about this, cuz my 'inspection' is coming up, at the end of October. Would this issue 'fail' my inspection?? I live in the state of PA. Thanks.

I don't know about PA but about 5 years back Texas started having vehicles go under an extra test in order to get inspected. If you met a certain income requirement the state would help you fix your vehicle to meet standars. I will try and find out what it was called this weekend.

sd, call and find out what the inspection covers. Where I am, it is so basic almost anyone would pass. Like do your lights work, your windshield wipers work, your brakes, do you have a muffler, goofy stuff like that. They don't really get into a whole lot. As long as it's in "working condition" and passes the "safety" part of it (working lights, seat belts, etc) it's okay. But I would call and ask what exactly does the inspection include. It might be a "Mickey Mouse" inspection like they do here.

Wanted to 'update' everyone, on the progress, on my car. I went through a program, in the county, where I live. I 'qualified' for it!! SOO....I got a new radiator!! I was told, by two mechanics, my car wouldn't have passed inspection, because the crack, in the radiator, was too big. Thanks, evryone, for the advice!!
