I want to see Bionic Woman, FYI. For many years I've watched EastEnders on the BBC (okay, I admit it). Michelle Ryan (who played Zoe Slater on EastEnders) is the new Bionic woman. This seems to be her first big break. I'm only surprised that they chose an actress who is unknown to most in the American audience.
To answer your question, I liked Boston Legal, and I hope it makes a comeback. Not to offend anyone, but I find William Shattner a far better actor now than even his Star Trek days. Other than that, my favorite is Anthony Bourdain's "No Reservations" on the Travel Channel.

I love Boston Legal. I think it is coming back this week. It has a 1 1/2 house show premier. William Shatner is one of the most impressive characters on TV now days.
I'll also be adding Pushing Dasies. I thought about adding Reaper (CW/WB) but I record all of my shows and it will only let me do 2 at a time and it will interfear with my already scheduled programming.
The DVR is one of the best inventions in the past 10 years!

My sister in law has me recording Survivor. That is about as much of reality as I can get beyond American Idol, and my husband is the one who mainly watches that.

I'm also a foodie...I LOVE Paula Deen! And I think Anthony Bourdain is sexy...in a snobbish New Yorker kind of way. But, I'm weird. I think Alan Rickman is sexy, too. He plays Snape in Harry Potter. But, back to TV, I like Antiques Roadshow, How CLean is your House on BBC, and, I hate to say it, Rock of Love on VH1. I know...it's cheesy.

Thanks FYI, I was wondering when Boston Legal was back on.
New favorites of mine are the new Dr Who, and Torchwood from the BBC. I don't know how many have visited my myspace site, but I grew up in the U.K. where Dr Who has been on since at least the 1960s (a sciFi/fanatasy series). Torchwood is by the creators of Dr Who, starring an American actor. My absolute favorite is Life on Mars, but the new season won't be on till January according to the BBC. I've been told that an American version is in the works (like with The Office). It wouldn't be the same for me though (ie., was Sam, a police detective, actually somehow transported back to 1973 Manchester, is he in a comma dreaming this, etc?). This program is brilliant.

I really enjoy watching Dr. Who but I haven't been able to get into the new Torchwood for some reason. My mom used to watch the first Dr. Who series and that is how I got attached to the sho when it came out as a remake.

Hey...that guest post back there was me. I LOVE Dr Who. I remember watching it as a kid. Do you guys remember the old cartoon Dungeons & Dragons? Those of us who play WOW grew up with that cartoon, then we'd run to our friends house to play D&D all afternoon. I know...I'm an uber geek. And proud of it!

Oh...and who watched Heroes list night? Peter is STILL hot, especially when he's chained up. LOL! But, what is Skylar doing back? They showed him in the preview for next week. WTF?!

Yes Ang, I'm not generally into prime time TV, but Boston Legal is great. Brilliant writing, brilliant acting.
FYI, my favorite Dr Who (sorry, I can't remember the actor's name) was in the mid to late 1970s. My gosh, the legs on his assistant in that short leather skirt... but that's for another post. (Actually, I wonder if this is the actress who guest stared in the program on Saturday night, she was a brunett and was one of the doctors former assistants). But I find the new Dr Who has a lot more of a sense of humor (a Glasgow native), and the special effects are no longer cheap and cheesie.
Torchwood is very different. I'd never heard of the American actor who stars in it. But, the American actor from the BBC's "Keen Eddie" is now on Boston Legal.

The Bionic Woman -- I saw it on. It's way to wierd for me. Not the subject matter, but Michelle Ryan (who plays the lead role). I watched the years she was on EastEnders (playing Zoe Slater). Michelle Ryan is of course English, but they've trained her in an American accent, and the Bionic Woman is supposed to be from Iowa. When I heard her talk on this show, I thought, "What?? That's not her accent." Others can watch this from another perspective I'm sure.

Bossy, it was just one of those things burned into my mind. This was the Dr Who in the 70s who wore the long scarf. He now does the voice-over bits on the BBC's comedy "Little Britain". The Dr in the late 60s to early 70s was a grey-haired guy, whose name also escapes me.
As to Bionic Woman, of course I wish Michelle Ryan well and I'm a fan. But if that is ever shown in the U.K. people are going to laugh.
I watched Private Pratice, Bionic Woman and Grey's Anatomy tonig
I watched Private Pratice, Bionic Woman and Grey's Anatomy tonight. Bionic Woman is going to be a interesting series and I wasn't too impressed with Private Pratice. Grey's was just too awesome.

Something happened with my DirectTv and it didn't record my shows last night! I missed out on Grey's, My Name is Earl, and The Office. I am SOOOO mad!!! Thank goodness they are showing a repeat of last night's Grey's tonight.

Sass...I am a CSI Junkie, I can not miss it!! And I watch Grey's also...I watch Greys online at abc.com the day after...like tonight!! I didn't see it in the TV listings for tonight it looked like 20/20 was on.
I also was very disappointed in Private Practice...and I worked so many hours this week...I missed everything else...:(

I've never watched the American version of The Office (another U.K. import). I watch the British version every now and again, but I'd bet it's a bit different, ie. drinks in the office, a lot of the action in the pub, etc.
FYI seems to have watched recent BBC programs. I find such shows as The Smoking Room very interesting sociologically. All of the action is in the "smoking room" of an office buildind (where everyone goes to have a smoke).
Still I find Anthony Bourdaine on the Travel Channel the best. He's the coolest you'll find anywhere.
Tonight I watched Stargate Atlantis! It was a dissapointing open
Tonight I watched Stargate Atlantis! It was a dissapointing opener I thought. Very slow. Very slow seemed to be the theme of the night when the next show I watched, Big Shots, seemed to not be moving also. I'll keep recording it though because it had some funny scenes and it looks like it could be the next Desperate Housewives for men.
The season finale for Dr Who and Eureka is next week. I am sad because Dr Who is REALLY picking up! It makes me wonder what Sci-Fi is going to put in it's place because Flash Gordon can't hold it on it's own.
With Eureka ending I will be able to watch Gossip Girl on it's schedued nights.
I still have Ghost Wisper to watch and Moonlight and I will watch those shows tonight.

I watched Ghost Wisper and I thought it was fantastic. It picked up right where it left off and it delivered a good season opener.
Moonlight was dissapointing but I can see where it is going to appeal to a lot of people. I will keep watching it.
