Is this collection day? Numerous calls from ipdls.

Oh my God. I am so mad I am shaking. Calls from USA payday, and Geneva Roth Loan Point. Geneva Roth Loan Point is not licensed in Oklahoma, am I correct? USA payday was civil, even worked out a settlement. Geneva Roth, "attorney" Andy Watkins, insists they are a legal company, blah, blah, blah, and they will pursue this "to the fullest extent of the law", this "case", civil action, blah, blah, blah. I hung up on him, and he called back! What should I do?


Srowan, They will do whatever they can to intimidate you. Try not to let them upset you (I know easier said than done). Try not to talk to them. If you do, keep records of the phone calls, company, date, time, who called, what was said. Did you send your letters? Every time they call you respond with a letter. Make sure on the bottom of your letters you cc: the bbb and your state regulating agency.

Hi srowan. I think they plot to all call on the same day to wear you down! :-) They are scumsucking bottom feeders who love to try to ruin an otherwise perfect day!!! Don't sweat it. They can't do a thing to you and you can hang up on them all day long. Everytime they call just say "put it in writing." Just keep saying it over and over and over again. Turn it into a game for yourself. :-) One member here did and got them so frustrated with emails that they actually asked the member to stop sending them emails!!!! I LOVED it. :-) Andy Watkins in legal, huh? It seems I've heard that same name before...

You guys are the most caring, compassionate group of people! Thank you so much for the kind words. I am sending a C and D letter tomorrow. Today, I filed complaints with the BBB and OCC (my state's form of AG). Thanks for the encouragement, once again!
