I have read other peoples stories on this site and I am there too. I am having to move, I am loosing my house...I can't pay rent and I will be homeless. The fees alone exceed my paycheck...I don't know what to do. I looked into consolidation, however it doesn't seem possible... if I could qualify for a loan I would have never gotten in this mess. Maybe you can help somehow? The homeless part doesn't bother me as much as my two black labs which I love more than anything. I don't know what to do. I feel so stupid for doing this...it was so easy...I don't know what I was thinking, I was just so desperate. Is there anything that will make this manageable? An attainable consolidation loan? Anything?

I live in California

Ashland Enterprises USA $300 pd $180

Well, where I am it is now 12:22pm. I know kim isn't at that time yet. But I'd have my big old butt standing at the atm machine getting every friggin dollar it'll give me. Been there, done that. Mine lets me take out $500 at one time. I pray to God Kim is at the ATM with her card in her hand sucking every single dollar out that she can. Please, kim, be sure to post what's going on.

I was just thinking about her. I hope everything is alright with her. I was hoping she'd be on tonight to give us an update on the whole bank situations. Has anyone asked who she banks with? I can't believe those jerks! If gas wasn't so expensive now a days I'd be telling her to drive to a different branch until she found one that would help her. Poor thing..she's been on my mind since I read her first post.

volley, of course, you're right. That's why I can't comprehend these banks telling people they can't do anything regarding their account. It blows my mind. Yes, they can. I don't get it. I love the fact that you work in a bank. I just wait for volley to come along and chomp on that and give that bull dog advice!

When I was in the worst part of dealing with my PDL's, I stayed up all night one night, waiting for my check to hit my account. As soon as I noticed it, I transferred it ALL to my savings...walked in to the bank the next day and took EVERY SINGLE penny. Like someone else mentioned, if you're going to be overdrawn anyways, might as well help yourself! I hope all worked out for you Kim!! Keep your head up!!

Good morning y'all! I was able to get $300 out That was the ATM limit. And since I am not giving up my next paycheck...I am going to plead with my landlord to work something out..having a paycheck to look forward to gives me hope. I am extremely diappointed in my bank, what is going to happen when they have a huge negative balance in my account? You all are giving me strength and hope, I truly appreciate the support.

kim, you need to go in there and have a straight up hissy fit. Cry, fall on the floor, do whatever it takes. If you think I'm kidding, I am not. I've done it, I've given advice to others & they've done it, and it's worked. I don't care if you have to act as though you're having an anxiety attack in front of the whole bank. They HAVE to do something. Tell them your going to report to the OCC. Tell them you have an attorney working with you. Hell, tell them whatever it takes. This is crazy as all hell. And, like stated above, do you still have any more money over the $300 that is available? Or no? Is it already sucked out? At least you got $300. Please, please keep us posted as to what's going on. I'm having nightmares here. I can not stand the thought of you and those dogs being stranded. It's killing me.

Hi Kim-I dont want this to be taken the wrong way because I know you have been working hard on this issue for days!

But, you NEED to sit down with someone at the bank and have them SHOW YOU IN WRITING their policy. I know I have mentioned this before but I cannot stress enough that you need to demand this.

Another thing that doesn't add up here is that if one person is on vacation the work doesn't stop. That manager must have a backup who would have authorization in his/her absence to make decisions. If not, they can roll it up to a district level.
The other point is that Kim, their customer, has told them that fraud is going on and they have done nothing to help her and are bleeding her dry with NSF fees. That's an issue.

Kim, I dont know if you have tried this but my bank was acting in a similar way to me. they would not close my account since we knew there was a possiblity debits were going to go thru, especially since I was going to be charged for them. What I did manage to do with them was give them a copy of the letter I sent to the PDL's and informed them of what was going on. Those letters became my "Dispute" information. I didnt close my account but everytime a PDL tried to debit my account I would call the bank (which for me is a call center) and told them I would like to dispute a pending charge, they would bring my account up, reference the letters and send the debit back to the PDLs, and credit the money back to me. This happened over and over again for 3 days. PDLs try different names and amounts to go thru, but I just called the bank and said hey they tried it again. I sent out lettes to the PDLs saying the Ca AG office and my attorney would be in contact with them for repeatedly and fraudlently attempting to debit my account. They stopped doing it.

I know I am entering this discussion late, but I know excatly how you feel. Just hang in there. There are alot of great people on this site willing to help.

Trust me, they helped me.

I know the feeling. I have a black lab who is really old and I keep worrying about her. I also have a maltese who is 10 months old. She is the baby. They love unconditionally. We will always be here for you. All you have to do is post. I know everyone is praying and rooting for you.

kim, volley and I are wondering about your bank account. What's up with that? As long as you still have a place to live & you're dogs are with you, I'm happy. But we are still concerned regarding your idiot bank. Do you have any news regarding them?

Good morning....I have closed my account, but I went in on my lunch break and missed the manager I want to talk to...so I am going to meet with him today, I am sure he will block the account. I am still avoiding my landlord til I figure out what to do there...I am looking into all options, I talked to Langhorne about consolidating, that would be about $300 a month, not bad at all considering the situation, but I would still need to move, things were tight when I got into this ugly mess, I would't be able to afford it. I am also looking at bankruptcy. But at least because I found you all, I am doing SOMETHING to resolve this instead of just giving up. I see a light at the end of the tunnel...and this time it is not a train! THANK YOU.

I have a similar situation as this lady expect I didnt let it get as far as losing my home. However, I have closed my bank account and re-opened a new one. I am in the process of sending each of my PDL's a letter. Cash Supply $400 Pd $250, Paycheck Today $400 Pd $600, Cashtransfer Centers $700 Pd $780, Cash Direct Express $300 Pd $925, Little Loan Shoppe $300 Pd $360 & Arrowhead Investments $300 Pd $450. Does anyone have any recommendations as to how I should word my letters and what documentation to send? The worse thing happened yesterday at work. Some crazy guy by the name of officer Kevin Peterson called my work yesterday and demanded to speak to my supervisor. The receptionist contacted me & she wouldnt put him through. I spoke to him and he told me that I was going to lose my job & go to jail. He had an arrest warrant and I was a bad person for doing internet fraud. He wouldnt tell me who he was representing or what the debt was for. I demanded to speak to his manager & he put me on hold and he came back on and told me he was the manager by the name of Frank something. He had a very thick accent and was extremly rude and unprofessional. Has anyone dealt with this guy.His phone number is 321-422-5133. I kept calling him back & he would yell and scream at me. I did track the area code to Florida. I left work very upset and I found out that he got in touch with my companies Human Resources. Iam not sure of the outcome of their conversation. Iam not sure what to do. Can anyone help?
