One of the creditors on my report is JJ Marshal and recently I called to try to get a settlement deal for the 668.00 I owe,They would only go down to 550.00 so I said no I will just make payments,I made a 25.00 payment and was notified by my credit monitoring that I had new accounts added! Its like they added another account but for 25.00 less onto my report! Will this hurt me and how do I go about making payments if this is what is going to happen?Thanks Sara

If i'm understanding this right Sara is after u made the $25 payment they added another acct on and dedcuted the payment yet left the initial one up? If so dispute it with the credit bureau and tell them same CA is on ur report twice for same debt!
Also, just so u know, once u make payment on an acct it starts the SOL all over.
