The two storefront PDL's will be licensed, I believe Check into Cash is liscensed also, I could not find any info on PayDayMax. I am fairly new to this site and I am no expert, but I do know you need to be careful how you handle the storefront loans. I'm sure someone with more experience will be along soon to help. I live in Wisconsin also, I didn't have much luck finding a consoldiation company, I have 7 internet PDL's, with the help of all the wonderful people here I chose to handle things without a debt consolidation company. So far it's going pretty good, if you contact the people you have the PDL's with and tell them you can't keep paying the rollover fees and interest with nothing going toward the principle, they may work out a payment plan with you. I was able to do that with a couple of mine. It doesn't hurt to check.
Help outta my Mistake
That's no problem! Thanks! I have also seen the rules for WI, not pretty! Looks like there is not much rules against PDL's for us! Thanks for the help. Have you heard of this company T&C everyone keeps talking about? I guess they can help consolidate the PDL's?
Yes I have heard of T&C, and I did contact them, but I was told
Yes I have heard of T&C, and I did contact them, but I was told because I live in WI they couldn't help me, they told me WI requires us to find a consolidation company in our own state. T&C is liscensed in WI, I read on this site somewhere that they just aren't taking WI customers right now. You may be better off try to handle the PDL's yourself (with the help of this site, of course). I think you have to have a certain amount of debt before you can qualify for consolidation, I'm not sure what that amount is though. I have all Internet PDL's so my situation is a little different than yours, like I said before I'm not quite sure how you should handle the Store Fronts, other than giving them a call and seeing if they will work out a reasonable payment plan with you, I have read on this site about people having success with that. For the Internet PDL's I would send them a letter revoking their authorization to debit your account and revoking any wage assignment you may have signed. That is how I started...sent the letter Certified mail with return receipt. Then I pretty much just waited for their response. Although, I also closed my checking account, but I don't think you can do that, because of the Store front PDL's, I would definately try to get something in writing from them in regards to a payment plan.

I have contacted Langhorn Law. just do a google search and Ithink they are the first ones listed. I decided not to use them and go it alone since their fees were rather outrageous.
