Sheesshhh almost finished our first bag of halloween candy! (big bag too) They keep putting this stuff out earlier and earlier each year! This means we still have a month before Halloween and lots more candy eating to go! And i'm not a very big candy eater to begin with...
At this rate, who knows how many bags will be eaten by then!
Do u all buy candy ahead of time? And do u eat it all and have to buy more and more? lol

We stopped buying halloween candy. My son steals it and will eat the whole bag in one morning. Talk about bouncing off the walls. Where we live we are kind of out in the country and we do not get trick or treaters. The local churches have set up park and treat. You can take your kids up to the church and their members have candy set up in a line on their tailgates. You just walk them through the line trick or treating. This is much safer. One of the churches has a festival where there are all kind of games and such.

I have solved the leftover candy dilema at our house--Don't buy the holiday wrappers (browns, golds, etc). That way, you can use it in their stockings at Christmas! If they didn't eat it for Halloween, they are sure not going to for Christmas. But man, if you don't put it in there, just like the oranges and pecans, they are MAD

We live in a neighborhood where there is only one way in and out. People from all over town bring their kids here to trick or treat. There are hundreds of kids roaming around. They even use the pool parking lot for a park and treat. It amazing. I went trough over 1000 candy pieces last year. And my sone came homewith two pillow cases full. UGH!!!! I tried to save them to give out this year but got vetoed.
