:oops: anything i can do to stop or alter the amount of garnishment..If its too much Ill be in bigger straits..the debt is true but i cant afford that much...any help please....ty


Welcome to the Community :D What type of garnishment are you talking about?

If this is a suit, and you have been served papers, answer the papaers withing the time frame. If this is the case, some areas also have hardship cases, but you will have to ask for that with the court. You will also be asked to shop why- like your bills, living expenses, debt, etc.

will commence soon..didnt dispute it in court..cant afford attorney and cant afford to miss work..debt is true. what can i do
