Ok I have been dealing with insurance companies for a couple of months trying to lower my payments. So finally I got it down from $140 per month to $88 per month (auto and homeowners) Just made my first $88 payment last month. Now hubby was in such a hurry getting home last tuesday from the cabin that he ended up getting pulled over (after I told him to slow down  ) So he gets nailed for 73 in a 55  in "MY" truck. But then he turns to me and says see what happens when you make me drive at night WTF  So with him having a lead foot "I" get blamed for it. Well he got lucky and he reduced it to 65 in a 55 but now he has to pay $169 for the ticket. And he thinks nothing of it. I kept yelling at him this past weekend to SLOW down. He was doing 70 again. I told him thanks, now the ins. is going to go back up  He just looked at me with an evil grin like he didn't care grrrrrrr. I could just smack him upside the head. Maybe thats why I have such a bad headache right now.

Thanks for letting me get that off my chest :)

Well didn't u KNOW it's ALWAYS "our" fault puddle?? sheeesshhhhh! My hubby also has a heavy foot and refuses to wear his seat belt which is ridiculous but he's a big boy. (and got ticketed for not wearing it) Is this his first ticket? If so, they have a program here that u can pay the ticket, go to a class and it will NOT show up on ur record. U may want to check into that!
GOod luck,
Ang

Puddle, that stinks and no wonder you have a headache. I have been to the class Ang is referring to and it would serve him right if it is as bad as the one I attended. I can sympathize, I got blamed for my 11 yr old not turning in an art project yesterday.... My husband literally called me at work yelled at and blamed me. Never mind the kid is old enough to take responsibility and never mind he picks him up every day and I do not get home until 3 hours later and he does his homeowrk with him.

Can you say defensive driving? It's cheaper than paying the ticket and it won't hurt your insurance!

I know I drive like a hellion. I can't stand to sit in traffic because when I do I get really cranky and my back hurts. I only drive safe when my family is in the car.

Thank You!! I will check into that class and see if they have one here.

We did tell the cop that he had just passed the car in front of him. The car was only doing 40 grrrr. And thats when he came back and said that after he got us he clocked the people behind us and they clocked at 61 and that it was impossible that they were doing 40. Plus when hubby finally got back into his lane he was well past the no passing zone. So he could have gotten that as well. Plus no seat belt. But it was dark and he didn't even check. He's still grumpy at me about this. But now the kids are picking on him about it lmao. They tell him dad did you tell the cop that you had your steeltoes shoes on and thats why your foot was heavy lmao. He gets mad and walks away.

Yep ANG I have found that out lately  So far EVERYTHING is MY fault here. Even the weather WTH Just because it's windy and raining when he's hunting, it's my fault. ummmm....I don't remember my name being mother nature. And I thought "I" had PMS. lol

Puddle, did you not read the wife/mommy job description...it clearly states we control all things, are keeper of all things, responsible for all things and fixer of all things. We never get tired because breasts are really battery packs and extra brain matter which allows us to fufill our duties.

Ok now you are killing me with laughter!

Puddle do check into a driving course so it does not show on driving record. I recently had a nasty ticket that I paid over $500 to an attorney to keep it off my record. It was clearly a case of small town/ me with out of state license plate. That was an expensive lesson.

Well funny thing is, my hubby grew up with 4 sisters and his mom and dad so the men were the minority. Then we got married and had 3 girls, then a boy last, so again he was the minority! Now all the girls have grown up and moved out so it's me, hubby and son (almost 16) and now i'm the minority!
OUCH! It hurts sometimes! ha ha

I checked it & replied ha ha ha. I am so with you guys on the always our fault. I've been feeling under the weather the past couple of days. Yesterday I asked hubby to get dinner ready for little one so when she got back from the park with big sissy dinner would be ready. well he sat there & sat there & sat there...finally i got up & started to make it myself. of course all the while i have STEAM coming out of my ears. He tells sit back down I'll get it..I told him you weren't going to do it until i got up to do it. Figuring I wasn't feeling well & my attitude wasn't the greatest I headed to the bedroom as to not bite his head off. I start to doze off..hear a thump on the bathroom wall, the here sloane (19 month old) crying. So I get out of bed pissed as all hell (cuz I don't here dear old dad asking any questions) to see what was going on. Of course sloane see's me & comes running...hubby then turns around & says (like he's talking to one of his kids) you better not get sloane sick. WTF
!!!! I proceeded to hand Sloane back to her dad & oh my god she was pissed...screaming at the top of her lungs. I was back in the bedroom now with lava spewing from my ears. He brings her in & says thanks for not thinking I can take care of our daughter!! WTF is that all about...would he have called me a bad mom if I hadn't gone to check & see what was going on?? talking about not being able to win for losing! Needless to say..Sloane stayed with me in the bedroom for the rest of the night!

Ang, Oooohhhh, I think I would rather be the minority in a house of males. My sister and Iwere hell on wheels, I can not imagine what my dad went through. Your husband must have incredible patience. Atleast he already had the training before your girls came along. :D

LMK, can we say COUCH?

Rox.. you know it. I think he was scared to come to bed last night. He didn't come in until around 0300 am & when he did I made sure I was all the way at the edge of the bed. Then sloane woke up at 0315 with a wet diaper, sheets & onsey. Needless to say..I'm feeling under the weather again today & I'm exahusted to boot. By the time I got her sheets changed she was wide flippin awake. Didn't get her back to bed until 0515 & my alarm clock goes off at 0530. That would have been a waste of 15 mins so I made a very very strong pot of coffee this am. Holy crap I'm tired!!

puddle I remember when we lived in Virginia and we decide to go to Ocean City, Md. which was about an hour and a half drive for us (going the speed limit). Ocean City is at the state line of Md and DE if you don't know. We ended up in DE for a few minutes before heading home. My husband at that time had such a lead foot we ended up getting a ticket in all 3 states before making it home. All three reduced the speed limit on the tickets so he did not get reckless, but I wonder if they knew about the others if they would have been that nice. Later looking at the tickets, all three were within an hours time span. I can laugh about it now, but I was hopping then.

Yep this has been good for me lol I got a good laugh from you guys. But now I have to vent again  lol.

Ok I will start from the beginning, After my mom passed away I got her car(because my dad didn't like my car that I had so he gave me my mom's car) I go around driving it ALOT. Then hubbys car dies so we went looking for a different one and thats when I got my explorer, so now I drive that and hubby drives the neon. Now hubby kills that car, well not kills it but it is going to cost us $600 to fix (and it worth $1000) He cannot drive it, it is sitting in works parking lot. So yesterday I am wondering where he is because he was late getting home from work, I am getting ready to go to the doc. ( to get my shots for my migrain) so hubby tells me this, I was pissed. So then after I get back from the doc. (the shots usually put me out for 24 hours) we go car shopping  . He wants a Tundra so we go to the dealer, well hell they are $41,000  I tell him NO WAY!!! So he goes and talks to the salesman, and he was soooo rude and made us feel like we were wasting his time. Well I ended up going off on the guy. Hubby gives me the look. Well he was going to have us go through the paperwork and like I said he made us feel like we were wasting his time. So I told him oh...don't bother, it's gooing to be a waste of OUR time trying to go through your dealership. We will go to the other dealer that made us feel welcome. Plus theirs are cheaper anyway and they were willing to do anything for us. And your just sitting here like a big ole lump anyway. Sorry for taking you away from your snack and tv show. Now just picture me saying this as cocky as I could (ummm there were other words in there also but I didn't think I should post that lol) So now I am in happyland because of the shots and hubby wanted to go to a different dealer (one that we got a flyer in the mail) well I was reading the flyer and they finance through wells fargo and I say oh hell no are we going to that place. So now hubby is steaming mad. I told him where to go (well I weas thinking that as I was telling him the place to go to lol) So he goes where I wanted to go in the first place. And he falls in love with 2 different ones. He test drove an Envoy (which he loved the ride but not the high miles) and then a Ram 1500 truck with the Hemi engine. Both of these were in our price range. So we are trying for the Ram. I hate Dodge, because of the neon but it was hubby decision. And the people there were so nice. They offered hubby a soda and everything. But now it's almost 9 pm and I haven't eaten anything all day, it's raining now and our daughter was with us. So he was going to go to Mc.D's for supper and I said no. you put me through this tonight and I should be at home in bed so you are going to take me someplace better than take out lol. So he put on his fake smile and drove the other way to someplace nice lmao. When we finally get home ( I fell asleep on the way home) I went to bed and died and just woke up almost an hour ago. And my migrain is still there  hmmmm.....wonder why. Now hubby has to take my truck to work tonight and now I have to walk home in the dark grrrrrr. I am going to ask one of my co-workers if they can give me a ride home. Keep your fingers crossed that we can get the truck. Then I can have mine back.

Oh well off to do laundry then take it to the laundromat to dry because my dryer died 2 weeks ago and hubby hasn't fixed it yet  I fixed it the last time. But now my tools are at work and hubby doesn't have the one I need. I know, I know, bring it home, I don't want to I want hubby to fix it lol. But I may end up doing that. But see I wash and bring them in to dry and then when hubby gets done with work they are dry and he picks them up and folds them ( I hate folding laundry) Then all I have to do is put it away. Well I am off. Thanks for the laughs :D
