what are the reviews of State Capital Financial for creditcard debt consolidation?

They're one of the few debt/credit settlement companies with a satisfactory rating on the BBB, most companies don't or aren't a part of the BBB period. They're the only company that works with all three credit bureaus to report you as paid as agreed with a $0 balance. They also have a written money back guarantee which I don't know if other firms have.

I found them to be a great company for the past 2 years they have been settleing my accounts!! One by One thaey have been closed and settled. Thaey all reflect a 0 balance settled as agreed!! If you look at the BBB, they are accredited. It is so FUNNY that if you go to rippoffreport.com there is a posting but it is from some old employee that did not get paid acommision, SO DONT LET THAT INFLUENCE YOUR DECISION, THEY ARE A GREAT COMPANY !!

Call owner Scott Rister and ask him how he stalls clients as their credit scores plummet and some will go into court with no recourse even after paying these goons. And ask him about his expensive hooker habit, wellactually some are just skanky strippers who want to make some quick cash off a loser. Do it yourself and save the money and heartache of being lied to, these clowns are a rip-off and everything you read on ripoff report is true. Suck it Rister!

i was under the impression that no settlement company can guaruntee you as to how the cc companies report. they can try but its not garunteed. they can report it anyway they wish. and as for the bbb no one should trust them at this point when it comes to ratings its worthless. its been proven over and over again that the bbb reports rating is crap. Companies that have horrible track records with unresoved issues are getting A ratings while other companies that have hardly any complaints with them all resolved are getting Fs so frankly that info means nothing.

I know for a fact that the owners and employees are writing the positive post to make it seem as if they have helped some individuals. Ask them for actual names, phone numbers and credit reports of previous clients. All i can say is follow your instincts and if you're in doubt then dont do it!!!! Its just that simple. Doing otherwise can be irreversible.

Seems like other companies or industries are the real ones writing the bad post on this board. The company in question does show real client testimonials and actual settlements made to clients on their website. Beware of what you read on this board its free for anyone to write anything even when its not the truth. Seems like a disgruntled employee trying to get back at a legitimate company.

Actually they get an "F" from the BBB

All Settlement Companies Get An "F" From the BBB. No Matter How Good or Bad The Service Is. For This Company To Have As Few Complaints As It Does In A Three Year Period Is Pretty Good Compaired To Other Settlement Company's In Business As Long As This One Has Been In Business.
The BBB Is A Sham If You Ask Me.

Their two branches receive a D- and F rating. A-F, just like grade school. I know this, if I brought a D- or F grade home on a test from school, my parents would've beat me with a studded leather belt until the rivers ran red. I've been talking to one of their Debt Management salespeople. They talk a good game, but there's too much suspicion about their company on the internet to trust them. Sure, it could be disgruntled ex-employees trying to run the company down, but then again, the good reviews could simply be the employees trying to run their company up. Who do you believe? For me, 90% bad reviews and a horrible rating on the BBB seal the deal.

actually this statement is not true. I have came across a few companies with A ratings but that doesnt mean they can be trusted either. you miswell wipe your @ss with the rating. but this is what is important and it can still be used as a tool check the amounts of complaints and if they were resolved or not. common sense tells you also that a larger company with a larger clientel will have more complaints also so what is important is that they are all resolved.

but i do agree that the bbb is more about making money these days rather than protecting the people like they origionally sought out to do.

They did absolutely nothing for us at all. We have filed a complaint with the better business bureau and are in the process of filing legal action against them. It is a scam a scam a scam I am a person that used them not another company bad mouthing them. You can email me at clubpromo@snet.net as can a state capital representative if they want to discuss a settlement with us. We will be contacting our states attorney general very soon to have them help us as well.

They caused me more problems plus took my money. Ended up bieng garnished and settled another for a lowere amount than they could. Asked for a refund but was turned down FAST. Did not have a problem keeping my money for nothing. Big rip off and liars, also they do ignore your correspondence after they wreck your life
