My husband has a few different things on his credit report from GEMB. There is GEMB/Care Credit shows Charge-off (I don't know what that means), there is GEMB/JCP (Revolving)(Paid satisfactorily), and there is GEMB/Walmart (Revolving)(Closed). Can someone tell me what any of that means please? Or how I can contact GEMB? Thanks!

I Googled GEMB, it stands for GE Money Bank, it seems that they finance revolving credit for several retail businesses, such as Walmart, JC Penney, Home Depot. Does or did your husband have accounts with Walmart, JC Penney and Care Credit? If not he needs to contact the credit bureau and dispute the info that is on his credit report. It seems many people have had problems with this company.

i just looked on my credit report and have NO clue why this place would be inquiring into my credit - since i haven't applied for anything - these tick me off - I am trying to buy a home and every time someone looks into my credit it drops my score
