credit card debt

I've got 45,000.00 in credit card debt. i don't know how I let it get to the point but .... now, i'm searching for a way out. i have been doing online browsing for debt relief agencies and debt consolidation. i'ev also used BBB.com to look for a couple of sites but still not sure which one to pick. it's really hard to trust a company after reading about all the fakes and crooks out there ... any ideas?

Whatever you do just make sure that you check the bbb and post with any questions you have. Do a search in the search box for a company you decide on maybe someone on this board has had a positive/negative experience with them. That way that will help you decide if that's the route you want to take.

If I were you I think I would click on the ranking chart...I haven't used it but that could at least give you an idea and maybe make a list of the questions to ask before you contact the debt consultation person.
