Is Debt Settlement a good choice?

I am considering debt settlement and have spoken to a number of places. Has anyone actually done this in the past or going through a program now? I would like to know if you feel debt settlement is a good choice.


There are people on here that have done what you are wanting to do. Hold on an someone will be by to provide you with their info. Have you received a free consultation from here, and have you checked under the ranking chart for any of the companies you were thinking about. Before you hire any place make sure that you check them out fully with the BBB to make sure they are a legit co.

Thanks for the reply Ladybug. I'll wait to hear from anyone that has completed or is currently involved in a settlement program. Has anyone had a good experience?

Welcome to the Community :D Here is a link that explains what debt settlement is at http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/debt-settlement.html .Is there a reason you are considering debt settlement, rather than debt consolidation?

As was mentioned, please check out the Company you may go with and see if others have used that company successfully.

Also, what type of debt are you talking about- credit card- pay day loans, etc.?
