I am totally screwed....I am at the point of losing a vehicle, possibly house. I have 3 loans out that I pay $200.00 + a week on. My phone bill, power bill, water bill, garabage bill, cable bill are all threatening to disconnect etc. Any ideas? I have no retirement plan and no one to borrow from, not that I feel robbing Peter to pay Paul is the answer....help please.
Thank you

Deemon...lady gave great advice-sign up for the free consultation.

have you called the cable company? Maybe they could lessen your service to just basic cable? Call the companies you are in risk of losing stuff/service & explain your problem. They might have a hardship plan to put you on.

But definately ask for a consultation, call or click on the link on the right to talk to someone. It doesn't hurt at all & might help you see a way out.

I was in the same bind a few months ago, paying so much for my payday loans that I couldn't pay my regular bills. It was very drastic and I wouldn't recommend it to everyone, but what I did was open up a new bank account, and had my paychecks direct deposited to my new account. This left my old account with almost no balance so when the payday loan companies tried to withdraw the bi-weekly fees, it bounced. It racked up several hundred dollars of over-draft fees at the old bank (which I've since paid off) but at least I had money to pay my bills/rent. And with their payments being rejected, the payday loan companies were willing to work with me. All but one company froze my balance where it was, agreed not to charge any more interest or fees and let me pay down the balances with a series of payments. It's been a long slow process but they're all getting paid off and I'm able to pay my rent and utilities. Like I said, drastic measure but frankly, it's smarter to pay your rent and your car loan first and then deal with the payday loans.

I agree with everyone. Please let us know if these are, indeed pdls. If so, please let us know if they are internet or storefronts. How much you borrowed and how much you have paid, so far. Please also let us know which state you are in. With this information, we can hopefully help you get back on the right track.
