Hi everyone. My name is Angie and I live in Ohio. I have 3 internet payday loans. One is with American Consumer Credit,LLc. The principal is $300. I have paid them $502.50 so far. One is with BestPayday Loan.com. The principal is $350. I have paid them $446.21 so far. My third one is with Paycheck Today. The principal is $400. I have paid them $480.00 so far. I can't handle paying these anymore. They are taking too much of my paycheck. Can anyone help????? I would appreciate it so much.

Paycheck Today seems sneaky. A lady called work today and asked for me. One of the other girls answered it because I was out of the office. She asked to take a message but the lady wouldn't leave one..she just said she would call back. My friend thought she heard a kid in the background and the lady called on a local line, so she thought maybe it was my babysitter. A few minutes later the lady called back so I answered it. Wouldn't you know..it wasn't my babysitter. I didn't tell them anything yet..just told them I didn't know what I was going to do and that I would contact them by Monday. I just want to get the letter to them before I said anything. I also went on the paycheck today website. I can't find an address for them. I don't know where my loan documents are either. All they have on their site is an email, fax#, and phone number.

Angie, I have pay check today's address in my office. If it is not posted bt the am..check back and I will post it for you. Someone may come along and post it for you... The url just means to put the company's e-mail address, you do not have to. I sent the letters to the BBB once I sent my letter and they started calling. I waited a little longer for the AG. I wanted to have documentation to send. There are two I have heard nothing from at all, I filed the BBB on all of them and those two I have not filed with the AG yet. Because of filing with the BBB, I actually got a PIF from one of the companies. This is not the norm, but it works depending on the company.

angie, oh, they are a d/b/a of my BEST FRIENDS (MTE Financial).

Paycheck Today
515 G SE
Miami, OK 74355
Phone: 1-866-756-0600
Fax: 1-800-671-0131

They say to use email customercare(at)paychecktoday.com
However, use email compliancedepartment(at)paychecktoday.com

They will not respond to emails to the customer care email - or they will say they are "forwarding" them. Use the compliance department email. You will get a response.

I personally filed all my complaints before anyone even had to THINK about contacting me. I sat here one night and filed all BBB's and FTC's since I could do it on line. Then the next day I spent filing with my state AG because I couldn't do it on line. Hell, I wasn't going to let one more minute go by without filing complaints.

blinkberry, when they call you, tell them to please not call you again. You have the right to tell them not to contact you regarding her. I was a reference for a friend of mine. After about 3 phone calls, I just told these people "I have given her the message to contact you. Please do not call me again regarding this." They did abide by my request.

"To facilitate a resolution to this matter,ACC made the determination to forego any further payments with respect to this account. ACC does not waive any of its rights whether by contract, statute or otherwise. It is further asserted that the above offer to forego is made in the compromise of a doubtful and disputed claim, and that the offer is not to be construed as an admission of any liabilty therefore, such liability having been expressly denied.

It then goes on to say that they are pleased to be able to assist me but they are under no legal obligation to do so. ACC is located in Delaware and is licensed by the state of Delaware. They say that all transactions made through them are governed by Delaware law. I don't understand this next sentence..."ACC has been advised that the conduct of a national internet program itself is insufficient to establish Ohio legislative or regulatory jurisdiction over ACC."

In my opinion (and I am no expert), I'm reading this to say that yes, they are "forego'ing" any further payments (so basically they're considering your account as paid) however, they are stressing the fact that they are doing it NOT out of any wrongdoing on their part.
Now, if someone else interpets this differently, please feel free to post. This is just how I personally am reading it.

I also have a loan with Paycheck Today. I complained to the BBB about them. They were supposed to reply by November 5th. The BBB emailed me and said they have not responded yet. Actually, since I have told Paycheck Today to stop calling me, they only tried once more. I have heard nothing more from them...no emails,no US mail, nothing at all.

Angie, I agree with you Cannr regarding the BBB response. As for Paycheck Today, those idiots sent me to collections and the collection agency was awful to deal with...I finally threatened to sue and they have pretty much left me alone...for now. So count yourself lucky regarding them. They are morons.
