It is good that you are nervous in your search. So much can go wrong with getting a loan. Have you tried debt consolidation? Please give it a try by clicking on the "free consultation" button that is just to the right of this post before you get deeper in debt for a longer amount of time.

I personally don't reccomend using a loan to get out of debt. However, if that is the route you take, please make sure they have a good record with the BBB.
Also, remember that NO REPUTABLE company will ask you for money up front. This board is full of people who have been caught up in loan scams.
Maybe consolidation or settlement could be an option?

DO NOT DO IT!!!! All they will try to do is direct you to pay day loan sites and you will be in the same situation as I. 6 loans and cannot pay them back and they will take money from your account every week and that's not even paying on the principle.
PERSONAL LOANS FOR BAD CREDIT?
I checked with the BBB and the reports are good but none are members. Im not sure what that means exactly. I only need about $1500 to get my credit cards taken care of and catch up on a few other payments. I am already in a very small payday loan and I want to get out of that as soon as possible so I never have to use them again. I dont feel that debt consolidation is really a necessary step. I need all the advise I cant get please!!!

If they are not members of BBB, I still would be aware because if feel the any REAL company would register with BBB. I feel is though they still have something to hide. I may be wrong, but that is my thought only. Oh my gosh, I am giving advice. I am so proud of myself. but seriously, please find some other alternative, so that you will not get over your head and regret it later.

I agree-don't go the loan route. The loan is just going to be more money ontop of what you already owe.

Those websites are just going to farm out your information and try to get a referral fee. Don't give them a phone number or email address that you don't want to be public info. I use a grand central number and an old email address thats swamped with spam anyway when I have to give out info to someone I'm not positive about.

If you apply for loans, that ask for "an insurance fee", or, "a down payment" of some sort, BEWARE!! These are just scams. There are ALOT of threads, about a comapny called Cash Call. DON'T doit with them!! Evil people...with this company. Check companies on the BBB.

You can also check with your states Department of Financial Institutions and see what they have to say about these companies and check to see if they are licensed and have any complaints files about them with the state.
