Had a great Friday

Then I had to call my utilities (got a disconnect notice) and made great payments arrangements with them :)
Now with the dead car, our neighbor races, so I went nextdoor and talked with him about it. He went and picked it up with his trailer for us and brought it back to his house. He charged me $20 to do that :) I couldn't even imagine what a tow truck would charge  But then he looked at it and said that if we buy the parts he would charge us $30 to fix it. OMG then I looked at hubby and said so we bought a truck and have to make payments for 5 years and it's not going to cost that much to fix the car  Well we really didn't know that at the time. Hubby had called some places and found out how much they would charge and made our decision on that amount. But I have to admit I love hubby's truck (I may borrow it a couple times :) )
Now with the dead car, I told my daughter that if she wants to use it she can pay for the repairs and when she gets her license (she goes for her road test in Dec.) She can use it, then she can buy it from me. She told me ok, thank god because she was spending her money as fast as she got her paychecks  But what I am going to do is when she makes a payment to me I am going to put it in a savings account, because I am going to give it to her for christmas. She loves that car, it still looks great. Thats why I didn't want to take it to the junkyard. Plus I got it when my mom passed away, it was her car. So I am thinking thats why my daughter wants it, because she was close to her. What do you think? Hubby is giving our son his snowmobile for christmas so why can't I give our daughter my car?
So thats how my friday went. It went better than I thought because I stopped afterwork on Thursday night(thats the day we signed the papers for the truck) for a few drinks to celebrate me getting MY truck back from hubby. I had a couple too many lol.
Hope you all had a great weekend. I did. I made hubby drive us around in his new truck lol saved my gas
