I just recieved a call from rich frankin or something let that. Well i got an loan from cashinminutes for 150.00. Now this man is talking about putting a warrent out for my arrest and trying to make me pay 1300.00. So i emailed cansnminutes and then this man calls me back getting smart with me. Talking about an im refusing to pay restition. I dont understand whats going on. Can someone give me some information.

The loan was for 150.00 and I had to pay 200.00 of it back. I had lost my job in between time and didnt have the money to pay them right back. SO I emailed them after I got off the phone with that crazy man to get there mailing address and they said they didnt have one. I would have to deal with Litigation Theft Arbitration. And they trying to make me send 1350.00 threrw Moneygram and i told he must be crazy I am not sending 1350.00 for a 150.00 loan, so he DROP IT WAY DOWN TO 200.00 which that was the loan. He still was threating me on the phone and he called me STUPID

Rachel -

Take a deep breath and calm down....and read the following:

A payday lender CANNOT:

-arrest you
-get you fired simply because you owe a payday loan
-garnish your paycheck (unless they are a LEGAL entity, and even then, they'd have to take you to court to do it)
-take your kids away
-take your house away
-"download affadavits for your arrest"
-"have 25 people at your house in 5 minutes to process you"
(the last two are favorites of some illegal payday lenders, and both are impossible)

What payday lenders CAN do:

-call you at all hours of the day and night, at home and work, harrassing you into paying more than you owe
-send you threatening e-mails (pay up or else)
-call your references you listed on your application (relatives/coworkers/friends) and try to humiliate you into paying by telling them you owe money

Now, keep in mind - all of these are tactics used by ILLEGAL payday lenders - and yours sounds like it's one of the illegal ones. A legal, law-abiding payday lender would NEVER call you and demand $1300 on a $150 payday loan and threaten to have you arrested. Why? Because first, that sort of interest rate on a $150 loan isn't legal in ANY state. Second, you can't be arrested for defaulting on a payday loan in any state.

They can not charge you roll over fees so I think the most you would owe would be the $216. Call them and tell them you want to make payments arrangements and your account is closed...most of them will at least give you information on sending a MoneyGram or Western Union. Then just send them what you can...you can also file a complaint with your state attorney's office and the BBB...sometimes they will help mediate closure for you.

This guy calls our house during the day. My boyfriend happened to be home. He tells my boyfriend everything about a $150 loan and that's it is now $1300 and he will come to Milwaukee, WI and file suit against me. He gave my account number to my previous bank, he gave a date of the transaction and a time, he told my boyfriend we, get it "WE" had until friday to respond.

The worst part is, he spoke to my boyfriend, not to me. And that I've never taken a loan with this place. I checked my account and no loan, I still have a savings account with this bank.

Isn't it against Wisconsin state law to give out information if your not married?

This guy had my boyfriend believing every word, until I reminded my boyfriend why I closed my account. Because several months ago, Platium Credit card services extracted $149.00 from my account stating I signed up for a online credit card. When I never did. And my Ebay account was hacked also to the tune of $500.00. With the same bank. So I went to the bank and they stated there was alot of activity on my account. Abnormal activity. So it was closed and now I have a secured checking account. NO ACH transactions are allowed only hand written checks.

What do I do?
