Encountered a problem with Prosper website

Hmmm.... I haven't heard that one before. I wonder if something has happened. I thought people were bidding to lend borrowers money?

Thats what i thought too. i am wondering if anyone else in NC has had luck with getting a loan.

I did hear something awhile ago, that they were shut down...but I can't remember where I heard it. If it comes back to me I'll let you know.

That is strange. I'm like Tiffany, in that I thought that people placed bids to led money to the applicant. I do know that each state has a regulation on how much interest the applican can be charged. Maybe NC is a severely rate-capped state. They may not have had great success in lending to residents of that state, as I think the bidders tend to make more offers to those who can be charged more interest. It makes sense, as they would want to get a greater return on their money.
