Liberty settlement group - so much of mis-information?

I've never heard of this company, myself, but others here may have. It would be a good idea to check sites like ripoffreport.com and to check their record with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) website.

Hello there! I have repeatedly had phone calls from a Glenn Carter 866 818 8926. I called him back today pretty angry and wondering why he was calling me? He hung up on me, repeatedly. I would like to know who this man is, and who he works for? And more importantly where did he get my information??

If I ever do need help with credit service, I certainly would NEVER select a firm as unprofessional as yours.

Not sure how many folks work with the public on the phone and are instructed on hanging up on people.

My office phone numbers that he has been calling me at are: 312 643-1388 and 312 513 4866.

I would appreciate a response and an apology from this VERY rude man. Pull up the phone records. You can see I tried to call him again and again to get his supervisors name and number and he hung up.

I would appreciate a response as this is my credit we are speaking of and I need to know this unprofessional and rude man has indeed lost my information.

Further, if Glenn Carter would have listened to what I had to say before hanging up on me, I could have told him that I had told another gentleman about a month ago that I was NOT looking for their help nor did I EVER sign up for anything on email with your group. Thinking I should post my "service" I received from Glenn on a comment page regarding your company. And just think, you have it all taped so that you can coach him on this. This is a HUGE waste of my time especially since he was HARASSING me on my business lines.

I got involved with Liberty Debt Management. They were in Texas. Made all kinds of promises. Took about $12,000 from me and did nothing for me. I found out from my creditors they never made any contact with them to even try to set up any kind of payment arrangements or settlements. Buyer beware!!! This place is a ripoff with a capital R!!!!

I got involved with Liberty Settlement Group in Feburary of last year. They have taken over $8000 from me and done NOTHING, but lie to me.

When looking for a debt settlement company, look for one with that collects their fees - AFTER - they settle your debt!

This site is part of the problem with all the mis-information out there regarding debt reduction. All the people contributing to this site seem to be giving information with no validity which consumers read and take to heart.

If you are a consumer looking for assistance with credit cards you must be very careful. There is so much mis-information out there that regarding what to look out for and who to trust.

To find a reputable company use a third party company that polices the debt reduction and debt settlement industry. The web site is tascsite.org this company can help you decide who to trust based on results and Facts.

This website is a bunch of different people giving their Opinion???s and coming to the table with their own agenda. Everyone's financial situation is different so do your homework, ask questions, and do not make rash decisions.

I am trying to find out some background on this organization.
Is this different from the Liberty Settlement Group. Both of these businesses are based out of Irvine, CA. Is this concidence or what?
Please provide me with some answers.

I an working with a company by the name Liberty Debt Care in Madison Heights MI have anyone work with them before

I am currently using them and hope and pray that I do not get scammed. The lady that I am working with emails me regularly to update me and when I email her, she responds quickly, but I am concerned if Liberty Debt Care in Michigan is related to any of these other companies. SOmeone must be doing something, I only have one other creditor that keeps calling. I tried working with them ahead of time, but all of a suddent they want to talk, well to late now. Liberty Debt Care is a scam they are also known as Franklin United and SaveMyHomeUSA same owners from all the companies do some research. i would try and get my money back from them. They have stole hundreds of thousands of dollars from innocent people

I was contacted by a Randy Walker with Liberty Settlement. He made the same claim as every other company I've contacted. However, other companies gave me information as to how to contact them and verify the validity of their firm. He did not. He referred me to a website - libertysettlement.com. No idea how to verify. Has anyone heard of him or know how I can verify whether he works for a legitamit debt consolidation company? Sound fishy?

Liberty Debt Management Group,LLC! I got involved with this Company December 2009, They have taking $4,000 from me, I canceled the account and ask for refund they said no. I am going to try to get my money back from them. How do I go by doing that? Help Please.......................

I also have been taking 9,000 from me same company i am taking them to court it has been over a year and i have 4 lawsuits from credit card companies so you know they are not doing there jobs i get someone new each time i call and they know nothing of what i talked to the last time i called.i reported them to bbb and everyone i could fine to report this false company and the ceo that says it is not his company should be a shamed because your taking from people that can't afford it in the beginning i had to file for bank rupcey go figure
