Your state PROHIBITS pdls! First of all, they are illegal in your state. Second, the ones you are dealing with are not even licensed. Crap! I'm posting MA pdl law so you can see for yourself. You need to read the sticky at the top of the site page regarding closing your bank account. These people will not stop debiting your account. Read it carefully. If you have any questions, post them.

Usually banks will not let you close an account when it's in the negative.
But you can have them put a hold or block on the account to stop any future transactions. Read that sticky that Cannr mentioned above, and it has some information about some of the holds and blocks.

marcia, if you have any questions regarding your bank account, please post them. A lot of members had negative bank accounts, so they could not close them. However, the bank can put a hard debit block/hard hold/freeze/whatever they want to call it so that nothing goes through. You need to do something so that the pdls will not be able to hit, causing you more NSF fees, and putting you in the negative even more. Please ask any questions. We're here to help you. :D
