Anyway, I could NOT believe my ears! This young lady said she was calling ON BEHALF of Arrowhead Investments and that her records showed that I had paid $300 toward the $800 balance I owed an online payday loan company (MTE.)
Needless to say I don't owe anyone $800! At any rate, she said her company name was BPL Litigation and that she was trying to keep me from getting arrested :lol:
The payment she's talking about was made to a Phillips and (I don't remember) who called me way back in June and scared the life out of me by telling me the same thing. So, I made a $300 payment using a friend's credit card and paid him back. That was BEFORE I found this forum!
As soon as I became better acquainted with these scammers, I called them back and BEGGED for them to return my call and try to collect the balance they said I owed. NOTHING. I left message after message telling them I was "on to them" and NOBODY ever called me back.
Now the want to collect on that non-existent balance? Is their turn-around time with their so called employees so quick that they don't remember my messages telling them I knew they had scammed me?
Well, back to today: As soon as I asked this person's name and laughed when she said I was going to be apprehended, she told me that obviously I wasn't taking this matter seriously and that she would inform the PDL to proceed with legal action against me! I told her TO GO AHEAD - MAKE MY DAY! Guess she didn't like that because she hung up!
